Sunset above the Falzarego Pass - Dolomites, Italy.
As always, thank you so much for your visits, comments and faves!
Like most of Galapagos, Sombrero Chino (Chinese Hat) is volcanic in origin. The exploration path starts with a gorgeous beach, bright red Sally Lightfoot crabs and marine iguanas. The path goes past a colony of endemic Galapagos sea lions before passing a lava field: look for the lava cactus growing in the cracks. On the beach, keep your eyes open for the American Oystercatcher, a wading bird with a distinctive orange beak. On the trail, you may see lava lizards.

Autumn, the period of grey, the period of fog, the month before Winter...
but, please, look what warm and deep colors it has...
all around you trees are covered of yellow, orange and deep, deep red... warm colors which cover the ground too and make the scenery full or joy, wonder, surprise and infinite beauty...
even in an abandoned cottage in the countryside...
This is Autumn and it is here...

I was out trimming some of the Hibiscus that grows next to my house, mostly trying to cut it back from the house itself, and of course trying to find a decent example of one or more blooms on the bush. I did eventually stumble upon a few blooms I liked, this is an Angel Eye Hibiscus. So, I began my little setup, worked around the scene, and began snapping a few photos. During my time trimming I had disturbed a whole lot of the beetles, one of which landed on the bloom here. I know they're a pest, but at the same time it added a depth to the flower I couldn't simply overlook.

I do not know why my imagination more and more projects in these unexplored worlds, perhaps in this world is so hard to dream that I need to do it anyway, elsewhere ....
I find that there is always a need to explore, inside and outside of us....
I hope you like it, because it is becoming a real set :)
I wish you all a good week remaining, creative and dreamy ! : )
