All small and large expeditions you do are a great adventure in uncharted territory, but above all in the sense that you find yourself!
Happy week ahead!

Yellowstone's Lewis River carved this impressive canyon on it's way to joining the Snake River.
Named after Meriwether Lewis. However, he didn't pass by here during his Corp of Discovery Expedition to the Pacific coast. They were much further North.
Enjoy a wonderful Sunday!
Thanks for taking a look!
OTIS & PAT: " Woow! What an amazing place we found!"

Today's shot kinda follows the same theme as yesterday. It's an old shot that I overlooked until now when I decided I could probably make something work with it. This shot is actually all the way back to 2011 when I was still shooting the D7000. That's 4 years from the time I shot it til I actually bothered to do anything with it. Hopefully it was worth the wait. Enjoy.

Set of 4 images of Captain Scott Tea Caddy.
I have a great interest in the Arctic and the Antarctic expeditions and the history of the early exploits. This was a great little find in a junk shop, an original tea caddy of the ill fated journey to the South Pole. These are very rare to find and I got it at the bargain price of £5 a couple of years ago.
The morning starts with a Sunrise but where i am stood it's raining. Typical English weather.

I put a CR2016 lithium battery into this Timex Expedition last night, and it still works fine. This used to be my beater work watch until the band broke several years ago. I ordered a new canvas band for it last night so that I can return it to duty.

The taste of snow and fresh foggy air.
In recent weeks (months), a high-pressure weather situation has spread to us that has made spring to summer and makes us feel very hot temperatures. Everyone says that is climate change!
In our state, it has never rained very much and never really hard in recent months and the crop losses are 40%.
In short words, I am so hot! Therefore, this beautiful winter picture to get lost in, something to cool off!
Have a great summer my friends
Here are the famous adventurer Johnny Thunder and his companions the journalist Pippin Reed and the historian Dr. Kilroy in classical jungle attire. Ready for another adventure, on the hunt for another ancient treasure.

Out exploring the Iceland country side with Tröll Expeditions on an ice cave tour. Tröll Expeditions takes you off-the-beaten-path to a natural ice cave underneath Katla volcano to explore the mighty South Coast and Myrdalsjokull glacier. The lunar surroundings, moss covered mountains and glaciers on the South Coast of Iceland is a surreal experience.

A set that's been rattling around in the back of my mind since starting my new revamps. The first time I made this set back in 2019 I merged loads of pieces to form a zeppelin shape. And to be honest it started to annoy me looking back.
This time around I've made a fully brick built design. The gondola section I tweaked a bit more and made some improvements.
This time around I feel better about this set. The Aztec pillar design looked a bit too plain in grey. So I added some more colour to it.
Microscale polar expedition out on a research mission to study the Antarctic ice shelf thinning and the effect on the wildlife population, such as the seals. Expedition using couple of snowcat vehicles to traverse the frozen landscape.
I was inspired by the 2014 Arctic Lego sets and just had to build a microscale version.
