Fordyce & Princeton (ex-CRI&P) SW1500 1504 trundles along the heavily wooded right-of-way leading to its one customer for today (and most days), the Georgia Pacific OSB plant just south of Fordyce, Arkansas, and only a mile or two ahead.
Although the crew is running out of time due to other commitments, they'll safely complete their trip down and back since it's not far. Luckily, they got out of Fordyce before the shadows completely consumed the scene at this, the only public crossing (overpass) between town and GP.
This appears to be a once-a-week thing, and apparently only on Thursdays, which was the reason I started off my week-long expedition the previous Sunday by heading due west instead of south into Arkansas.

The taste of snow and fresh foggy air.
In recent weeks (months), a high-pressure weather situation has spread to us that has made spring to summer and makes us feel very hot temperatures. Everyone says that is climate change!
In our state, it has never rained very much and never really hard in recent months and the crop losses are 40%.
In short words, I am so hot! Therefore, this beautiful winter picture to get lost in, something to cool off!

The Soyuz MS-01 spacecraft launches from the Baikonur Cosmodrome with Expedition 48-49 crewmembers Kate Rubins of NASA, Anatoly Ivanishin of Roscosmos and Takuya Onishi of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) onboard, Thursday, July 7, 2016 , Kazakh time (July 6 Eastern time), Baikonur, Kazakhstan. Rubins, Ivanishin, and Onishi will spend approximately four months on the orbital complex, returning to Earth in October.

Three crew members off the infamous Franklin expedition of 1845-46 are buried on Beechey Island, Canada. The fourth grave is of Thomas Morgan who died in 1854 aboard another ship.
I've always been a huge fan of the LEGO Orient Expedition theme, espcecially of the Himalaya sets.

Continuing to recap our 2025 wildlife photo expeditions with this shot of a cow moose.
On this trip, we did a location double dip for moose. First location was Roosevelt National Forest in Colorado where I photographed the "faux fight" posted a couple of days ago. Second location was the Bighorn National Forest in Wyoming where we found this lovely lady.
P.S. My Flickr people feed is messed up this morning. I can no longer see any photos by the folks I follow that were posted before midafternoon on Saturday.
