Actually there was the sunrise expected on the right side of that frame 30 minutes ago. The weatherforecast wrote that there would be a cloud cover of 30 % of the sky, so it shouldn't be a problem. But if these 30 % building a massiv wall on the wrong place I’ll keep trapped in the dawning for a while. Nature is what is happening, while I'm having different plans.
Eigentlich sollte vor ungefähr 30 Minuten auf der rechten Seite die Sonne aufgegangen sein. Der Wetterbereicht hat von 30 %iger Wolkenabdeckung des Himmels gesprochen, eigentlich kein Problem. Wenn sich allerdings diese 30 % wie ein massive Wand genau an der falschen Stelle auftürmen bleib ich noch ne Weile in der Morgendämmerung gefangen. Natur ist eben das was passiert, während ich andere Pläne mache.

Who would have expected to find her here, silently admiring the sunset from my Baja cabin? I tiptoed quietly, doing my best not to scare her away yet again. The soft click of the Leica shutter was barely audible. She did smile, I swear!
Quelle belle surprise.... Je ne me serais jamais attendu à la trouver là, admirant le coucher de soleil depuis ma cabane à Baja. En me glissant doucement devant elle, je faisais de mon mieux pour ne pas l'effrayer une fois encore. Le délicat déclic du Leica fut imperceptible, à l'image de son petit sourire....

We’ve had about 15 cm by the time this photo was taken; some areas, ours included, is expecting another 15-20 cm. We’ll see. The snow is not bad by itself: it is the wind that is driving one’s wits away. I’m glad the hearts are warm either way. Have a warm day!

I’ve been in SL for 83 Days. Things happen which I didn’t expect and plan at first. Second Life is such an amazing “dream comes true” world!
These 2 and a half months:

I’ve never attained more than 1000 followers in any social media before. I haven’t thought of I can go this far! I’m very happy and grateful for all your support! Really means a lot to me!
Exploring sims and taking photos in SL is my self-healing or self-meditation process from RL. I’m not a cheerful girl but I would like and always try hard chasing light. So you may find warmth and hope in my photos. This is what I would like to express in my photography.

I would like to walk at my own comfortable pace in both RL and SL. Just do what I like in SL, not to rush for glory but to feel the sunshine or starlight every day. And I believe things will grow their beautiful way unexpectedly.
Last but not least, be tough and strong no matter how dark the road is. I know I can lift me up to the height I want.

Canada Geese over the Exe Estuary at dawn, from Starcross, Devon, England. I wasn't expecting them, so was not quick enough to adjust the shutter speed to sharpen the beating wings!
When it came to the Moscow Metro, I had a good idea what to expects, but the reality was something else. Spacious, stunning, immacculate and clean hardly covers it. There were very few people, Alla said that was because trains come every 90 seconds. Each station has a unique theme, there are no billboards, I could have spent a day visiting stations and riding the trains; this was railway heaven beyond my wildest dreams.

As well as being one of the most efficient and cheapest underground transit systems in the world, the Moscow Metro is also undoubtedly one of the most beautiful. The brainchild of the tsars but finally put into action by Stalin, whose idea to make the city’s metro stations “palaces for the people” has translated into some truly spectacular, subterranean architectural gems. It’s possible to spend an entire day or more travelling the metro and exploring the vast array of ornate stations; each constructed and decorated in its own unique way. There are 215 stations on 14 lines.

Took a trip to Manistee over the weekend expecting to find the lake laying low with with an ENE wind and was very surprised to find it raging. I guess nothing can be ruled out when "north" is in the forecast even when it isn't the prevailing wind.
I saw this magnificent sunset,

From this exercise, I learnt that drips drop much faster than you might expect!
in our local BIG park. We were expecting heavy grey skies this year, but we were blessed with this wonderful light ! I have still to cook our Christmas meal - so I'm rushing to get this on before starting the real cooking !

Breeding pairs aggressively territorial but nonbreeding flocks can number in hundreds. Unmistakable throughout much of range, but compare with very similar Red-knobbed Coot in areas of overlap. I was not expecting to find out that the Eurasian Coot is a year-round resident of Australia. In fact, it has a huge range across Europe, Asia and Australasia. We saw them several times, but this was the only time one was close enough photograph.

I normally go to Polzeath for a sunset as it is on our North Coast.
For a challenge I went for an early morning shoot not knowing what to expect as obviously the sun would be rising behind the camera (so watch for shadows).
Anyway I was quite pleasantly surprised with what unfolded that morning.

“A taste of what to expect” when the Scottish autumn is in full splendour in the Trossachs area of Scotland. The trees, like oaks, birches, and rowans will be ablaze with a fiery palette of deep reds, rustic oranges, and brilliant golds. Their branches will be adorned with these colourful leaves which will then reach toward the glassy surface of the loch below, and where the still dark waters of Loch Ard will act as a perfect mirror. A season not to be missed……….
Did you expect anything different?! It was always going to be bike cogs, problem was I’d left it til yesterday and it was the most miserable of days, so needed the phones light as well as a flash, I’m sure I could have done a better effort but various other factors meant that this was the best I could muster.
