After the mass of buds yesterday, this is the other cactus - at least 4 flowers in full bloom, with lots of other buds close to popping.
i took this at like the beginning of summer while and friend and i were climbing up Gold Creek. it was sooo steep and everytime we took a step, rocks would fall down to the river bottom. it was really fun though. but then we ended up going back down because there were a bunch of eagles circling us so we freaked out. haha.
it was a fun adventure though.
these flowers only grow on the banks or cliffs near rivers. so i never seen one of these until then. haha.
oh and i won't put anything on here for more than a week or so because i sold my nikon camera and tomorrow am going to order a canon rebel eos xs. im really excited. whoo :o

I really should pay more attention to the signs and tags they put out.
It's a bit of a tourist trap, but the nicest trap I've been to. Good place to stop for lunch, with a botanic garden and many birds on the grounds.
