Still a WIP; it's been sitting around for a little while. I'm not sure how to finish the top section off. And I think the gun arm need some kind of ammo hose or coolant. I want something chunky that looked like it would just charge through the human defences.
I'm pretty sure 8101 was my first post-Dark Ages set. I was amazed at the time by the Lego ball joints, the dinosaur tail claws and the pyramid center wedges. Such cool parts, so much new potential...

Test train EXO E172 has three new bilevel cars built by CRRC in tow as it prepares to take the North Jct Lead to reach the Westmount Sub.

Caleb inspired me again with his recent series of Exo-Force videos. I arrived to the theme in the third and final wave so I missed some of the early classic sets; Uplink was always a favourite. There's just something so toyetic in it's spindly, stompy goodness.
Anyway, I had to try a larger version. The legs are reused from my Orb Spider mech (here's to be lazy and not sorting for months at a time).
EXO 16 from Vaudreuil is arriving at Montreal West Station during the morning rush hour as a deadhead move at right awaits its signal. F59PHI EXO 1323 leads the inbound train.

'Exos' is a Canadian troupe living and performing in Geneva. I shot these images during a private party late 2006. Their work might be described as 'movement theatre' built on circus techniques and wrapped in a creative soundscape. The members of the group have an elegant presence expressed through an imaginative and astounding series of floating acrobatic sequences, contorsions, wire-walking, and dance set to an electro-type music that offers an unreal universe where mermaids and poetry mix in a lyric chaos.
