St Helana Island

Instructor Jim Lauria trains SSA students on how to properly pull over a vehicle.

Had no idea that the under feathers on these beauties were black. Don't know what caused them to spread their wings as I was walking by but I'm glad they did.

These are the 5 American White Pelicans that were rescued from the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico last year and brought to the zoo since their injuries would not allow them to survive in the wild.

An excercise during my photography course was to shoot a triptych of a person's face, hands and feet. I choose to do this in the context of people being at their work. Can you guess this person's profession?

Simple. Wireless flash, pointed at the flower from a high angle.I had to lower down the flash level to ensure the lighting is not too harsh. To achieved the dark background i use a fast shutter speed.
