this is the last banksy left in detroit (maybe). some of you may have heard the news that banksy visited our fair city. and many of you may have said "i'm going to find them and take a picture" only to hear that of the 4 known pieces, 3 have already been removed. i have been reading all the commentary over the removal and there are strong opinions for and against and i have to say that while removing the piece from its intended environment does take something away from the intent of the piece at least something is being done to preserve this art. this idea just popped into my head and i decided to do it for fun. i did not harm the piece so no one get bent out of shape. the rat piece i think will probably stay where it is since its on a building that is still in use and is on a fairly busy stretch of road in warren. if you would like to read the commentary please click on the links below
