This design is for the Threadless Loves competition. The competition theme design is to create an awesome design celebrating photography.
The idea came to me almost instantly. I went through several design ideas but finally settled for this one.
The motif behind this is the celebration of film and its evolution into the digital realm with the pixel dots near the end of the film strip. On the film strip are images of different types of cameras over the years of its existence. I have also added a snow flake it for decorative reasons and the girl to enhance the energy of the image.
I hope you like it. Also, go and vote for me at Threadless because the better rating I get, the higher the chances of it getting printed and this shirt can actually be yours.
Butterflies are excellent examples of how natural selection builds on a basic design to evolve myriad resulting species.
The Galápagos Islands (Islas Galápagos) are an archipelago of volcanic islands in the Eastern Pacific, located around the Equator 900 km (560 mi) west of South America. They form the Galápagos Province of the Republic of Ecuador, with a population of slightly over 33,000 in 2020. The province is divided into the cantons of San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz, and Isabela, the three most populated islands in the chain. The Galápagos are famous for their large number of endemic species, which were studied by Charles Darwin in the 1830s and inspired his theory of evolution by means of natural selection. Many of the islands are protected as part of Ecuador's Galápagos National Park and Marine Reserve.

On April 20, 2006, the world of super-light, street legal race automobiles grew to become a great deal richer. It was the day when the Caparo T1 was unveiled at the Best Marques auto display in Monaco. Created by Ben Scott-Geddes and Graham Halstead, two engineers formerly concerned in the...

Beacon Hill Fort in Harwich occupies an strategic position protecting the historically important Naval port in the town. Constructed in around 1889, the fort drew on a number of recent innovations; from the use of entirely breech loading (BL) guns, to the newly introduced Twydall profile of the land defences. The fort sits on a mostly man-made earth profile, designed to protect the battery (and it's disappearing carriages) from view and also from enemy naval fire. The fort was used and upgraded almost continuously from it's construction until beyond the Second World War when the development of British airpower reduced the need for expensive land based batteries.
What is unique, is that each phase of construction appears to have taken place without disturbing the previous developments, resulting in an almost unique monument to the development of not only British coastal artillery, but the evolution of defensive warfare.
The site is now in private hands and is undergoing a large clearance effort, with the gates being open most days for an explore. Drop a few ££ in the donation bucket, the owners and volunteers are doing a great job, and they let the budding explorer wander aimlessly throughout the site without challenge.
I hope I have labelled the images correctly, it is a complex site to decode. All images taken on 4 August 2018.
EyeInSky Applied Drones in Education & Industry
@EyeInSky was born out of an intense love of flight. Started by building custom drones for leisure, it now focuses towards industrial applications and raising awareness on its potential through education.Aspiring to make learning drone tech affordable to anyone, @EyeInSky is committed to teach classes here at MakerBay. We are developing kits allowing anyone to learn the components and dynamics of drones from scratch, thus encouraging even more revolutionary utilization ideas for the tech in the future. @EyeInSky is also part of DarkMatterLabs, engaging in R&D applying drone tech to industries such as plantations, construction, and environment monitoring integrating open source platforms.. We have recently delved into mapping plantations using modified cameras to detect plant health through NIR (Near Infrared) photography. We are currently looking for industrial partners and investors to apply our expertise in tailoring solutions to solve real world requirements.
