1979 Land Rover 109" Series 3 hardtop.
Ex-military (registered 27 HF 32) and registered for civilian use in February 2019.
This General Service Land Rover was stationed at Clive Barracks, Ternhill, and served with 1st Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment, 1st Battalion Black Watch, 1 Royal Welsh Fusiliers, 1 Welsh Guards and 55 Signal Squadron, Royal Corps of Signals. It was sold off in December 1997.
A warm Sunday evening in mid-August and a standard Class 31/1 31229 was allocated to the 16:40 Birmingham New Street to Norwich recorded near Washwood Heath, Birmingham. This cross-country service would take 4 hours 12 minutes to complete the journey.

The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH) around 1940. The three photos are from an album that students received when they graduated in 1940. The recipient of the album studied mechanical engineering and died in 1994. The heirs do not claim the copyright and leave the photos for publication for the historical heritage.
