"" LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU ! "

=============================

VERY SPECIAL ENCOUNTER ! so much that I am showing a second image of the same bird, a first for me ! Gave me so much joy, you have to suffer another. Am about to put together a set of Juvenile birds, as there are so many about.

THANK YOU for your visit and support, apologizes if I have not caught up with you yet., hope your all well, happy clicking, God bless !................Tomx.

It is always great fun to see grouse breeding displays. This proud, confident Ruffed Grouse was unafraid of me.

We fulfilled each other's needs. I provided him with an appreciative audience of one whom he entertained (romanced?) for 10-15 minutes. He bailed me out of an imprudent 45 minute wildlife-seeking side trip in which I grossly misjudged the onset of darkness and was repeatedly asking myself - before seeing him - "what am I doing here?"

"Enjoy life now, this is not a dress rehearsal".....

A shot of the Beaches of Blavand from May to entertain you. We will spend this weekend in the Cathedral of Speed, the iconic circuit of Assen to enjoy the Dutch TT of the MotoGP. Relax a little bit while we will watch qualifying and races of the weekend. See you on Monday !

They had entertained the idea for some time about this particular take over. Once they hit the shore though, everything happened so fast. Now, they stood amongst the burning pillage, the snapping and crackling sounds of burning debris in the air. There were cheers off in the distance as the remainder of anything worth anything was confiscated and loaded onto the ships to take back home.

to the victors it brings renewed riches and power.

I couldn't get the squirrel in this shot (yet) but Mr. Blue obliged ;-).. I am only seeing the squirrels between 6 and 8 AM these days so I am usually not ready with any "props" to get the shots I am wanting for the squirrel book I am working on...

Besides the comet, you can see the remains of the osprey nest that has kept us entertained these past few months. It's on the roof of the boathouse. :-)

Filou stayed with us for several hours again today. He entertained the Dragon and went out on the terrace for a while when we had a few dry moments. As Filou doesn't know how to manage the cat flap yet, I had to prop it open to allow him to go in and out. The Dragon could have gone out too but it was still very windy and apparently he didn't want to ruin his hairdo. Instead he waited for Filou at the door. I add a little snapshot in the comments which shows the moment when Filou wanted to return inside. It's very blurry and a photo I would normally delete but then I thought I should post it just for fun.

to say bye to my boredom.

The feather is one of the toys I used to entertain Leo and get some nice poses for photos. I think it was a typical win-win situation, Leo and I both had fun and from a photographic point of view the strategy worked really well. :)

One of the most fascinating aspects of meteorology is its interaction with landforms and geography in general.

A given flow, a given front, a given Low (pression) do not live on their own, but in the interaction they have with the earth's surface, loading themselves with moisture as they cross oceans, seas and large lakes and releasing it when they encounter barriers such as mountain ranges.

The mountain ranges create thermal contrasts and accumulate clouds on the windward slopes (stau), greatly increasing the rainfall on these slopes and limiting it (possible Foehn) on the leeward ones.

The higher and longer the chain, the more these phenomena are exacerbated.

Meteorology, in the interaction of tropospheric dynamics with the earth's surface, generates microclimates, i.e. particular and recurring meteorological trends over small areas which are markedly different (in rain-thermal terms) from the trend that should occur within the climatic belt to which the small area belongs and which differs from the others, even contiguous ones, according to the variations brought about by the orographic variables.

Meteorology is much, much more than the (complex and fascinating) weather forecasts, which "today" are computerized by powerful calculators which, starting from data taken in real time from weather stations all over the planet, issue a series of short and medium term projections on how the meteorological situation will evolve subsequently.

We entertained some friends of ours from Australia last Summer, and we took them to this upscale, posh mall uptown. Needless to say, they were beyond impressed. I don’t get to do panoramas like I used to, but I take advantage of them when it’s appropriate, esp. in a public place.

Entertained myself silly that afternoon walking up and down the length of the boat in search of the highest concentration of bokeh reflection I can find...grin. This is it!

Just added 1 flypaper texture to soften the edges.

The Least Fascinating Woman in SL entertains a guest in Post-apocalypse - blithers for hours about the socio-economic reasons for Brexit and the current rise of the Alt-Right in USA....and the guest does not die of boredom. She IS the Least Fascinating Woman in SL...

Tofu the Dragon in the garden on one of the rare evenings with a lovely sunset. He had no eyes for the sunset behind the fence, though, as there are always too many interesting things going on in the garden. The Dragon's territory is growing as he often spends time at my sister's too and entertains her and her cats with his kitten antics. Cotton ball is how my sister calls him.

SCARING MY BIRDS AWAY, these two fun-loving spaniels continued to entertain me, so I captured a few shots.

The Only Reason I Haven't Unfriended Some People On Social Media Is Because Their Drama Keeps Me Entertained On The Toilet.

Someone thinks of entertaining the donkeys with a Sony TV that he kindly dumped near their pen. He does not know that donkeys do not have time to watch television and that if they would had hands they would be able to get rid of the television in a more rational and less polluting way.

The wait for the Pine Marten to arrive was often long, so these little guys kept me entertained...

I will listen.

Don't talk, you keep your distance

for I'd rather hear some truth tonight than entertain your lies

so take you poison silently.

Let me be. Let me close my eyes.

Don't talk, I'll believe it.

I have a nice variety of birds in my yard to keep me entertained while staying home to avoid Covid-19 The stay at home order, except for essential travel has been extended until the end of May, Yakima County, Washington. There may be some essential birds that I need to see away from home this week. Will post a few more yard bird photos latter.

Tall tales are a type of folklore featuring exaggerated, fantastical stories, often told as if they were true. These stories typically centre around a larger-than-life hero who performs incredible, unbelievable feats. The stories are meant to entertain and are often humorous and outrageous.

Watchet harbour, Somerset, UK.

It is the aquarium of Lisbon that to have us entertained a good time, they took us to visit.

While the others were taking group pictures in front of the waterfall beside the front door, it occurred to me that I could do it the other way round. That is from within the waterfall.

I hesitated for a while because inside there was a fine cloud of imperceptible water droplets, but I feared that some of these drops would wet my camera lens and it would spoil the photo, since it has happened to me many times and at the moment, you can not see.

At the end I decided to try it and as there was very strong sunlight I made it at a very high speed to get something different.

The editing is very simple, since there is nothing to improve or enhance.

It seems that the drops dance each to its air without there being two alike.

I like it.

A mí me gusta.

I don't usually entertain taking bird photos - only because I don't have the long lenses often required to capture photos of birds. Lucky for me then that as I was out taking photos of the snow, this robin came to have a look at what I was doing - and stayed still long enough for me to get a few photos.

This little fellow entertained us for hours, he was so quick and never kept still for a second.

Bank Voles are small chestnut brown rodents with a cream coloured underbelly and a short hairy tail.

Like all voles, it has small eyes, a short tail, large ears and a rounded snout, they inhabit woodland, hedgerows, parks and gardens.

My friends Dave Denby, Dave Sutton and I decided to return to Millers Wood Nature Reserve Sussex, almost a year from our last visit.

This time the weather was light rain and overcast but it did not dampen our spirits as there was plenty of wildlife to photograph.
