The Earth Rangers Centre features two photovoltaic solar arrays. One set of panels installed on the roof of the aviary, and one array of six composite solar panels in the Earth Rangers parking lot. Each array, in the parking lot, has 54 Solgate 175W panels, provided by Sentinel Power Systems. The arrays in the parking lot follow the sun from east to west during the day. Each panel has its own Enphase micro-inverter, further increasing the efficiency of the arrays, and allowing real-time monitoring of the system. This array is predicted to develop enough power to offset up to 30 per cent of the Earth Rangers Centre’s electrical needs. The array at the aviary provides enough energy to offset approximately 10 per cent of the Earth Rangers Centre’s annual needs. This means that in total, these solar panels will be able to provide up to 40 per cent of the Earth Ranger Centre's annual energy needs.

In rural India, poor quality of technical education adversely affects the academic performance of the child from primary to higher secondary years and often leads to high levels of dropouts. This initiative will benefit around 500-600 students encouraging them to pursue technical education.

Solar: How do we scale solar to be on 50% of the roofs in the US by 2018?
Presented by Panasonic
Plummeting panel and balance-of-system costs are making solar electricity increasingly competitive with carbon-intensive alternatives. However, the overall pace of adoption in the U.S. is still slow. This working session will explore practical breakthroughs to installing solar on 50% of U.S. rooftops by 2015. Using rapid prototyping in small groups, participants will work together to find solutions and then participate in the identified actions to accelerate progress.

Client of Going Green Solar and participant in the Going Green Now! Marketing Program. This picture demonstrates a solar electric array made up of 8 solar panels for approx 2 KW. This solar electric system which was engineered using micro inverter technology by Enphase is also linked up to a cloud based, real time monitoring system. This home is located in Peoria, Arizona. This project totaled over 7 KW spread over 2 solar arrays with over 30 solar panels. www.goinggreensolar.com

My new Enphase 10T setup replaces (hopefully) a whole bunch of APC Back-UPS power supplies throughout the home. Going to try one of these first before adding a second.

Client of Going Green Solar and participant in the Going Green Now! Marketing Partnership. This picture puts on display the sleek look and clean lines of a 4 kilowatt photovoltaic system at another happy Going Green Solar customer's home in Glendale, Arizona. This solar electric array is made up of high efficient, solar electric panels totaling 4 Kilowatts. This particular solar array was installed on a flat tile roof and was designed and engineered using a new micro inverter technology by Enphase. Along with the micro inverter effeciency gains system will link up to a wireless, web based, monitoring system that allows the owner to view in real time the actual production of each solar panel as well as the total solar array. The monitoring program provides detailed analysis of historical solar energy production down to the minute and up to the lifetime of the system. The Solar Hot Water Heating System replaced an electric hot water heater. This home is located in Glendale, Arizona. www.goinggreensolar.com
