Harmony began designing a new SSG2 horizontal baler for a large, multinational beverage company in 2010. The bottling company was looking for a high-capacity baler for one of its bottling facilities to be delivered in just 3 short months. Harmony’s team of engineers were up for the challenge, but also knew that there was a lot to learn about the enduser’s design requirements in order to meet the deadline. They teamed up with Rockwell Automation to help make it happen.

The first big visitor to our new building - Dr. M. Schneider, CEO of the world-wide BAYER Group, our parent company. He brought a fellow board member from the head office in Leverkusen. The managing director of the BAYER Group in Japan, Mr. Kleedehn, had guided the visitors to our company.
(As Japan is a peaceful country there were no guards with the group - only one photographer. In South America there were in some countries sharp shooters on the roofs of the neighboring buildings, I was told.)
The picture shows me guiding these most important visitors (for our company's future) towards the elevator explaining our piece of art - the Six Sense of H&R. Dr. Schneider is seen smiling here - he was obviously in a good mood and came with an open mind. I realized that If we could to impress him during his inspection, capital requests would have an easier sailing in the future.
After his tour of our new building, he asked me at a BAYER reception the same evening what he could tell the reporters at the planned Press meeting about H&R in Japan the following day. I mentioned our success at Mc Donald's and our direct approach to the endusers for our products instead of going almost exclusively through the tradtional distribution system - the dealer system.
Everyone's favourite little green nightmare enduser, now available as a cookie. Eat him before he eats you! Though I'd save the consumption of these cookies for investigators of high sanity only.

Why am I posting Kodak DC210 shots, when I just got my shiny new DSLR?
Because I've been taking almost all my DSLR shots in RAW, and in order to process 450D RAW shots I need either ACR 4.4.1 or DPP 3.3. I don't own any product which includes ACR, and I'm reluctant to open the tamper-proof packaging on my EOS Digital Solution Disk until I'm sure the file corruption problems are due to my SDHC cards (increasingly unlikely) and not the camera. In the latter case, I'd most likely return the camera to B&H, and the easier that goes the better.
The recent recall of the latest Nikon D3 firmware because "data may, in some rare cases, be corrupted" makes me wonder if Canon might have a similar problem. The XSi is so new I can believe that no one else has yet encountered the specific set of circumstances that has caused my camera to corrupt four files so far on two different 4GB Sandisk Extreme III SDHC cards. I have taken over a thousand frames on these very cards with my Panasonic FX35 with nary a problem, so it would appear to be at least a combination of the camera with these cards, if not the camera alone, which is causing the problem.
I am continuing to test other cards, including a 512MB Viking SD card, but the last card this happened on took almost 200 frames before the problem showed, so this isn't an easy problem to isolate.
Needless to say, I will not be happy to return this otherwise nice camera to a B&H which is closed for the holidays (their website currently lists their status as "???pesach08FDwebclosing???"). And downright angry if the problem persists with the replacement. So I'm trying everything to avoid that outcome.
