I wouldn't say it's been a bad week, but it's been a stressful one. Nice to reach its pinnacle and its end, and to enter another week.
Happy Fence Friday!
Have fun today, be happy and have a great weekend everyone!
Can't believe I was in Adelaide at the beginning of the week, glad to be back in Sydney.
Just a colourful fun photo of the fence and lifeguard hut on Cronulla Beach.

Wishing all a great weekend!
Very late post tonight since I was out celebrating my girlfriend's birthday! This photo does not represent my mood, but was merely an execution of an idea I had in my head. Busy day today at work. It was a bit stressful, but I did survive. Happy Hump Day everyone.
And Happy Birthday to my girlfriend :).

FINALLY a nice day. cool, but sunny and way better than the rest of the week. I was able to get out and make my weekly walk.... had to stop and take a little break on my favorite rock. i swear it's made for resting b/c it has a perfect-sized chunk out of it that fits a person just right ;) I hope this weather signals better times to come.
I have changed my Day 98 photograph to this one, after I had loaded the Buttercup I was sat having a cup of tea and started playing with the remote to do some SP's. I am very self concious and find the thought of them very scary, so after many many many takes I finally settled on this for my first proper self portrait.
Thanks for all views, comments and faves all very much appreciated :o)
... or hardly working? This would have to be at the end of my week, at the end of the day. I like my blue LEDs and I think I'll keep them up until it no longer gets dark before 4. (I kind of like it when it gets dark before 4...)
nb. Check out my pandas. Or my 'pandillows' as Shaun said.
Its nice when you finish the game and look back on what you have done and it mostly seems good. Standing on the school field here just thinking back on the week...made a few mistakes but on balance I think I made more of a positive difference than a negative one....OK. Two days to gear up for the next game.
Found this guy at a Goodwill. Somewhere a lamb is missing his/her lion...these lions came with a little lamb that they held in their arms, but this one is missing his lamb and the little holly sprig in his mane. I have an "intact" version of this plush, too, just like the one I had when I was a little kid. They came with VHS tapes of a cartoon called "The Lion and the Lamb" made by a family film company called "Rabbit Ears Productions." Ahh, nostalgia. :)

My favorite time of the week ... Friday afternoon. Meeting the kids at the bus stop, hearing about their day, and then going home and settling in, leisurely looking forward to the whole weekend ahead.

Can't believe it's the end of the week! And end of the month! And and and end of the year!
I hope you have a joyful, successful, healthy, hearty, totally bright 2014, my Flick friends!
As I was driving home from work between 7 and 8 PM on Friday afternoon, I saw a gorgeous golden sun setting. The best place to get a photo is at my neighbor's house where the pond is near the roadside. I pulled over and parked, quickly jumped out to get a self-portrait before the sun disappeared. The pond was quite full because of the recent rains. I had to take the picture very fast because of a problem. What was that problem?
It didn't feel like it at the time, but now I know this has been a long week, and I'm glad it's over. This is (unintentionally!) my second "sleeping on the couch" photo, but this time the throne has been rightfully taken by the smaller furrier members of the household. Paxton on the left keeping an eye on the camera, Alma on the right staring into the middle distance. I think we're all a little bit tired, and I'm more than a little bit awkwardly-posed. A lot of good things happened this week, but it's all just been ... a bit exhausting, so I'm going to bed.
Tomorrow: Flying little planes again at Tapanappa. And I'm taking sunscreen with me, this time. I promise.
