As the lights of autumn sunset soften with cooler evening winds, the Hydrangea All Summer Long keeps coming out with new buds and small florets. Will this hydrangea have a name change some time soon?
A beautiful winter evening at Lake Tahoe. December has been unusually warm, so most of the precipitation has fallen as rain.
Thanks, as always, for stopping by and for all of your kind comments -- I appreciate them all.

And the birds come out to eat! Hope everyone is doing great, and will have a great weekend. I will be around to catch up throughout the day.
The fishing reason is almost over, and it is not sure if ice fishing is on for this winter, but the stock for the next season is worked on in this hatchery.

Don't worry.....it's not live. Nobody but God knows when he's coming. The events discribed in revelations are very simular to our situation now, but a general does not reveal where and when he's going to attack.
A little sky glow and silhouette, hopefully to brighten your day....Taken in Santa Monica at the end of a long day...........
Hope Everybody is doing great!
Most people are thrilled to see winter end. For me it's filled with nostalgia with beautiful memories like this. In this shot I am standing on the frozen stream at sunset in awe of winters beauty.

I love November. It's dark and brooding. Quiet and somber. A time for reflection, thinking, soul searching. Time for the coyotes howl and the owls hoot to echo and dance as the wind carries their conversations across the universe.
A beautiful storm passing over just as the sun was setting behind the pines.
I was on my balcony and against this beautiful sunset was our young Sunflowers, which against the backdrop gave an atmospheric view of the early evening, of what was the remains of Summertime. no idea why as Humans we love the Sunset and evening so much, the end of day moments before dark. I love how Sunflowers when you observe them, actually follow the Sun as it's crossing the sky throughout the day, then sit neutral until the next morning.
Here's to another week, hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you! :)
Baburgh St Aidan's Church.
According to Bede, St Aidan built a wooden church outside the castle wall in AD 635, and he died here in AD 652. A wooden beam preserved inside the church is traditionally said to be the one on which he rested as he died.
The present church dates from the late 12th century,

En fin de journée, la nature a encore offert une création artistique inédite dans un cadre accessible et presque bucolique.
Evening in Heath and Roath Parks, Cardiff.
The Scott Monument in Roath Park Lake, Cardiff. The monument was repainted and 'spring cleaned' in 2020 after a donation to the Council was made by a local man who had lost both his wife and his mother in 2019. Andy Temple and his wife frequently walked round the lake, as did his mother right up to the age of 97.
On 15 June 1910, Scott and the crew of the Terra Nova set sail from Cardiff bound for the Antarctic, where they arrived in October on their ill-fated mission. The ship depicted on the weathervane on top of the tower is of Scott's earlier vessel, The Discovery.
