Set apart,

One with the Golden Heart

Step out,

Chosen for a reason.

Courage is freedom!

Sanctification is a process. When we practice trust and obedience in Him, we are set free from our bonds. No one can take that freedom away.

Happy Independance Day to America!

I hope you all enjoy your weekend and not be afraid to step out. I will step into your lovely streams when I am able.

This is my second shot from my Golden series.

Oh maker of the sand and sea, how wonderful you also made me. I come in gratitude and enjoy your sandy shores. To dwell in gloom and misery no more.

I am on the outskirts of the oncoming hurricane Irma. There may be possible power outages. Thoughts and prayers are highly appreciated for the state of Florida.

Because of the power outages, I may not be able to respond for a few days to your wonderful and kind comments.

Thank you for your patience. Happy Sunday Flickr Friends!

Come stand next to me

Let the waters carry away your worries

Let the sun warm your soul

Let the breezes caress your face

And be confidant and know….

Here, I will be. Unwavering.

We all get to choose who enters our life, but not when they exit. Some people are as unpredictable as the winds and some are tried and as true as the nightly tides. The waves of life bring many surprises to the shore. It's up to you which to pick up.

I'm collecting my thoughts today as another hurricane forms in the Atlantic. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims of Harvey.

Happy Labor Day weekend to all my American friends!

Happy Sunday to you all!

The water may bring peace to my heart, but the sky brings welcome wonderment and drama to stir the soul.

Have a lovely week Flickr friends.

Just because you missed the boat doesn't mean that you can't enjoy the water.

It's never too late to reinvent yourself.

Have a great weekend Friends!

Only a few weeks left in Florida before I head out traveling. I'll sure dream about this place until I come home again in October.

The peaceful week

By Rebekah, 9

I live on a beautiful beach

I meet with my friends

Every day I go swimming in the deep blue sea

I hear waves crashing on the sharp rocks at night

I go to bed happy with a peaceful day in my mind.

I wake up to a nice day and I open the curtains with the sun smiling at me through the window.

Sunrise photo taken under the Russell-Fields in Panama City Beach Florida

Sunset at Alys beach along 30A in Florida. I was playing around with composition and was using the leading lines of the road and bushes to draw you into the photo.

"Believe in God like you believe in the sunrise. Not because you can see it, but because you can see all it touches."

Orange Beach, Alabama

Ocean temperature is about 65°F (18°C) in March which makes for a refreshing swim.

On the Emerald Coast in Brittanny lies on a tidal island a fortress by the name of Fort du GuesclinIt built 1026 and only accessible by foot at low and mid tide.

In 1207, the fortress was occupied by Jean sans Terre (John Lackland in English, Johan Sanz Terre in Breton), King of England (r 1199-1216), and was the site of bloody battles, during which Juhel de Mayenne drove away the English.

Bought in 1500 by Guillaume de Chateaubriand, it was then sold in 1589 to the Rieux family, before being demolished by the Catholic League and reconstructed in 1758.

It’s still possible to see the base of six or seven turrets and a well thirty metres deep and three metres wide. The buildings have now been transformed into a holiday home

This photograph was taken just after sunrise looking out over the Santa Rosa Sound, the connecting body of water between Pensacola Bay and Choctawhatchee Bay within the Intracoastal Waterway in Florida. Off in the distance is the Navarre Beach Causeway, a concrete stringer bridge over Santa Rosa Sound that was constructed in 1950. It is also called the Navarre Beach Bridge and connects the beach and mainland sides of the Navarre community.

While vacationing on Neptune's underground oceans, we withnessed an amazing tradition.

A young prince had fallen deeply in love with one of Neptune's daughters, Rhode.

As custom on the planet, he had to challenge Neptune himself to a duel in order to gain her hand in marriage.

The wind began to blow and the seas began to rise. The young prince put on a brave face and dilligently stood his ground. Ultimately he proved himself worthy.

As we were about to leave, I rememered something and inquired, "Charles, didn't you have a crush on Rhode?"

He got a sly look on his face. With a twinkle in his eye and a smug smile he simply said," Donna, where we are going, I don't need Rhodes."

Thank you for the kind favs and comments! This is a continued series of the explorations at Navarre Beach at sunset.

There's only one thing more powerful than a sunset at the beach and that's the power of love itself.

Life can take us to many places. At times we can get stuck somewhere we do not want to be. Circumstances keep us beached. All anyone can do is make the most of it until in free and open waters again.

I look forward to catching up with you all. I was beached for awhile. Have a great week friends.

I live in the Falling Waters area of Chipley, Florida. It is a really beautiful place with rolling hills and trees. If you are traveling this way, take a drive through. I know you will enjoy it!

Sunsets are so different every day, there are those that are just so epic and vibrant that make them unforgettable and then there are others that are just so much more soft and reflective. This is one of those others that I was lucky enough to witness and enjoy.

Photo taken in Concale, Brittany, France. It lies along the coast to the East of Saint-Malo and is a picturesque fishing port which has the reputation of being the "Oyster Capital" of Brittany.

"The point is that when I see a sunset or a waterfall or something, for a split second it's so great, because for a little bit I'm out of my brain, and it's got nothing to do with me. I'm not trying to figure it out, you know what I mean? And I wonder if I can somehow find a way to maintain that mind stillness."
