Today August 29th Bastian celebrates his 6th anniversary with us. He has gained a little weight, but is still the same cudly and playful boy as back then, when we found him at the shelter. :)

Today I had met up with Paul (Paul Bousie) and Allan (LoneWolfA7ii) to take a drive along Glen Strathfarrar. We were lucky with the weather and had a very pleasant day; thanks for the company guys, here's to the winter trip.
I managed to leave most of my filters in the car when we walked down to this waterfall so tried using the 10 stopper (which isn't my favourite due to colour cast) and ended up with this 1 minute exposure.

I went to Cresswell Beach for sunrise this morning and when I got close to the water's edge I scattered hundreds of gulls, and there were feathers everywhere. Lots of them were squished in the water but this one caught my eye in the sun's first rays.
As mentioned in my comment, I originally uploaded the wrong version of this. The first version wasn't aligned with the sun but the photo I took where it was lined up wasn't in focus. I don't often move things after the event, but decided a little photoshoppery would help here, so I've moved the feather half a centimetre to the left.
