So, I have camera envy. I am not proud of it but I do. The object of my desire is my man-thing's new Fuji FinePix X100 - while left minding the aforementioned camera I took a few shots and was loathe to hand it back over when he returned. Given the greedy gleam in my eye, betraying secret thoughts of theft, this may be the only shot I ever take with the X100.

These are beautiful handcrafted Japanese teacups that I bought at Elixir in Los Angeles before moving to France. I chose these because they are the same color as our beloved Jean-Louis, may he rest in peace.

Writing retreat in the French countryside! I got to teach and write and be a part of an amazing community with people I'll always adore!

It's like if you were kidnapped and they were about to sell your kidney on the black market haha.... Thats what I think of every time I see this picture. This is the band Elixir and I had the best time hanging out with them. This is my favorite shot for sure. I had to share it :)
