Not quite yet as it's only a few weeks old and should be ready in 2 months. It has a smoky/woody flavour at this point, the berries have a nice texture.

A bullfinch flitted across to the rowan, but had disappeared when I returned with a camera. Several minutes later this Sparrowhawk appeared and landed on a neighbour's fence. It seemed to pay little heed to some local movement that I'd have expected to force it to flight, but no. There's plenty of small bird movement round here, which might have drawn this predator to rest as shown. It kindly stayed put for more than long enough to grab a few exposures. This had me wondering about how many such chances I've missed in the past.... must be more vigilant!
