Inspired by Adolf Schneeberger and Albert Renger-Patzsch. The first was a Czech photographer born in 1897 in Chocen, Austria-Hungary. The second was a German born in 1897 in Würzburg, Bavaria. Great people who have grasped the artistic potential of the industry.

 

On the left side you can see a Chinese tapestry made in the 18th century. The tapestry is protected by the French Monument historique system.

I was tired of having to tape batteries together for my old polaroid land camera to work so I converted the battery compartment to a DC input socket. Now you just plug it into any old wall outlet.

Not pretty but functional.

 

I took this shot in Havana, Cuba a few years ago. While looking for doors and windows to photograph, I noticed the electrical wires hanging on the outside walls of the buildings. I'm sure that this unsafe practise is not allowed in most parts of the world and that is why the references to “Electricians Nightmare” and “Not pretty but functional”. I also thought the “laundry” on the clothesline would add some humour to the overall picture.

"This lamp is functional."

Nicosia is the capital and largest city on the island of Cyprus, as well as its main business centre.It is located near the centre of the Mesaoria plain, on the banks of the River Pedieos.

Yesterday, I wired the new dollhouse for electric lights. I was so excited when I used the tester and had power on the first try! Now I can hang the lights…..yay!!
