Sometimes I am sure people get tired of seeing summer images so I thought I would throw in a winter image that I recently worked on again. I know what you are thinking not another image from here.. but I was really happy to get fresh snow on the particular trip..

Recently I have been seeing some very impressive images from Yosemite and have been reminiscing about my time this past autumn. Yosemite is one of the most impressive places I have ever witnessed. This is an image of the sun setting on the fall colors and the warmth I remember from that day..

Thanks for looking ..

What can I say? It's Yosemite; it's beautiful.

That's El Capitan on the left, and if you look center right you'll see Half Dome peeking out.

A long shot of a famous place..

While in Yosemite, (my favorite place on EARTH) I am always amazed at the ever changing landscape. This long exposure, has a light cloud blur...Making El Cap stand even taller!

Yosemite national park is one of the most visited national park in the US, established in October 1890 located in the central Sierra Nevada of California. The park is spread across approximately 747,956 acres, but majority of the visitors spend their time in Yosemite Valley, which is just 5.9 sq. mile. The park is popular for its waterfalls, lakes, mountains, giant cliffs, and giant sequoia trees. This photograph was taken at valley view, in the Yosemite Valley at the time of moon rise.

Taken at Tunnel View.

The rock on the left is El Capitan, which is supposed to be the biggest granite rock in the world and attract many rock climbers. For more details, please see the photo below. It is so huge and we could hardly see rock climbers without help of large binoculars. (Even my 200mm tele-photo lens did not find any climbers.)

On the right hand corner in the shadow, there is bridalveil falls. By the end of August, there was not much water, but nevertheless strong wind from below was blowing water, making it just look like a bridal veil.

Far in the middle, we can see a tip of Half Dome.

you can't photograph Yosemite without doing the Tunnel View. here it is in HDR

Yosemite is one of my favorite National Park in NPS system. But when I went there, I noticed there is no snow, no cloud at all....... Well it looks like I have one more site I would like to visit again.

Paradise on earth; if there is really a paradise somewhere it can't be more beautiful than this. Views of El captain and beautiful tall pine trees and their reflection in Merced river makes the scene picture perfect!
