Through the formation of a pop-up company, participants will investigate the institutional offerings and privatization of space around Lincoln Center, the world's largest performing arts institution, as led by choreographer Adam Weinert. The company will physicalize its findings throughout this walk in a series of dance performances. No previous dance experience necessary.
This walk holds 8 people and will be held in English, though Adam also speaks French and Spanish

This was one of the labs that we did to learn about contact and non contact forces. This is a contact force. What we had to do in this lab, was to shoot a rubber band to the back of the cup, and see how far the cup moves from 20cm. This shows Elasticity. Some other things we learned were Friction, Gravity, Buoyancy, Magnetic force, and Electric force.
Icarus is kindly providing product testing services...the cat toy on the elastic string appears to be working out well. Just don't get between the cat and his new toy...lol

Reykjavík airport is not the best place to wander around looking for good subjects to shoot...well, not for me, anyway. I don't really feel comfortable photographing complete strangers. If I could do that, I'd have lots of great subject matter.
That said, I liked the curling shapes of these rubber bands.
+ The elasticized waist of this feminine piece gives the top layer some fullness while the bottom layer remains fitted. The low scoop neck of the top layer shows off a thin line box pattern. Repeating on the top layer, the box pattern is combined with a drawing of a peacock. Perfect with a denim skirt or skinny jeans.
