Elastic{ON} Tour Australia 2015 was held on December 8th in Sydney and December 10th in Melbourne. Each stop brought together over 300 people dedicated to doing great things with data. All profits were donated to local charities to support their programs and initiatives.

"Centroids and Asphalt" will identify hidden loci of New York City-- invisible hinge-points upon which the city's people, buildings and population turn. The walk will explore our physical interactions with the street and how to reconcile these encounters with a conceptual, bird's-eye view of the city. We will physically map both our own perceptions and present realities at different points and use drawing, map-making, and careful study to form new narratives from our everyday environment.
I was at the Tower of London and heard about a legend of an escape out of the White Chapel. The monk pretend that he was praying, but trow his pray-rope out of the White Chapel. Got out and escape on a horse.
I like to try-out a slapstickversion of this legend.
After seeing this himo in my favourite furisode dressing book so many times, I've finally found it on YJA!! I bumped into it by complete accident, but I was SO happy I managed to find one!
Of course, I bought two of these :D

Elastic City Education Director Ben Weber invites young participants and their loved ones to become a living typewriter that creates cooperative public poetry, letter-by-letter.
Each participant will take on the role of a letter of the alphabet, tagging their personal character onto huge sheets of paper using large custom-made stamps.
The living typewriter will experiment with graffiti, poetry and propaganda using teamwork, improvisation and nonverbal communication. Hop to it!
This way holds 30 people (this includes parents) and is presented in partnership with the Staten Island Museum.

Anne Percoco will expand upon her installation work to create a walk with participants in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Participants will interact with the park's natural and synthetic living systems as well as its rich mythology as an ash dump and subsequently, the site of the World's Fair. The group will use their bodies and found materials to construct personal and communal shrines, functioning as focal points in the landscape.
