With only gravity against the friction of the cables in the housing, the jaw was having trouble dropping back down after the cables were relaxed, so I built some structure onto the /top/ of the jaw joint that would connect elastic to pull the jaw back down.

I got the inspiration for these colours from a photo I saw of a bunch of different autumnal coloured leaves. Then I just played around with blends and patterns and this is what came out of it, I really like it, a lot more than I Thought I would!

Elastic band balls are wasteful really; I know I don’t use any bands off mine, I just add to them. I think there should be a worldwide elastic band ball amnesty to bring these unused office supplies back into circulation where they belong.

An elastic balance. Thais use allot of plastic bags for food and they often close them with small elastics. I've been saving the elastics for some sort of art project but I'm not exactly sure what I will create. I got board and started playing with them trying to get some ideas, this was one of the things I ended up with. What ever it is that I will create I want to use allot of elastics so I'm still saving them... one by one.
