Quote from The Really Useful #EdTechBook:
"The ability to absorb and understand information from different perspectives is key, as is the ability to be 'multilingual' and communicate in a variety of ways and to different audiences."

"Podcast episode show art for 'The EdTech Situation Room' Episode 311 titled 'AI's Evolving Landscape.' The design should visually represent the themes of artificial intelligence, ethical considerations, and practical applications like weather forecasting and email crafting. Include imagery of digital AI brains, ethical scales, weather symbols like clouds and lightning, and an envelope or email icon. The background should be futuristic and tech-inspired, with a color scheme of blue, silver, and black, to convey a sense of technology and innovation."
Quote from The Really Useful #EdTechBook:
"Staying on top of the emerging trends in tools, strategies and emerging developments takes effort, but it is possible by harnessing the worldwide network of learning professionals who are passionate about the subject."

EdTech Vietnam 2018, recently hosted at RMIT Vietnam’s Saigon South campus, brought
together stakeholders in learning innovation and educational technology.
Delivered by RMIT Vietnam’s Centre of Digital Excellence (CODE) in collaboration with Saigon Innovation Hub and EdTech Asia, the one-day forum aimed to determine Vietnam’s capacity to deliver high quality
digital learning and teaching in the higher education sector.
16-year-old student Sumaya Abdel Rahman Mahmoud Mohamad studies on a tablet, part of an EdTech program developed by WarChild Holland named ‘Can’t Wait to Learn’, at a school in Djabel Refugee Camp, Eastern Chad. Sumaya’s family fled Sudan during the War in Darfur and the recent uptick in violence in the region means that families such as hers remain in a state of uncertainty for the near future.
GPE funded research in Chad has been looking towards expanding existing EdTech programs in the region and one study took place in Djabel camp itself. One of the highlights from the research was the discovery that for students taking part in Can’t Wait to Learn, female students started with lower numeracy skills compared to boys but caught up in just 4 to 4.5 months.
