This drawing is the result of an assignment from my editorial illustration class with the American cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz. We were tasked to come up with the most offensive drawing, politically, socially or religiously. I decided to take this piece to a bigger scale and have some fun with it by combining a bit of everything. Some parts have a strong political understatement, for example Netanyahu snorting the ashes of an Auschwitz detainee symbolizes how he uses the tragic events of the Holocaust to justify a very questionable foreign policy towards the Arab world. Other parts are very self-explanatory, like the part where a character representing the National Security Agency is holding U.S. president Barack Obama on a leash.

There are also some very plain and common stereotypes like the Mexican worker sleeping next to a cactus with an empty bottle of Mezcal.
