For my final major project on my national diploma course, i decided to do a fashion based theme. i choose to do a magazine style layout based on current trends, which at the time was colour.

Of the over 130 projects exhibited at SciFest@LIT 2017, the top prize on the day went to Ruth Daly from Colaiste Chiarain, Croom for her project, ‘An Investigation of the Effect of Water and Soil Toxicity on Daphnia’. Ruth will go on to represent the Mid-West at the National SciFest Final in Dublin in November.

Union for the Mediterranean Ministerial Meeting on Energy. The 3rd Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) Ministerial Meeting on Energy was held by videoconference on 14 June, hosted by Portugal and co-chaired by the UfM Co-Presidency.
