One week of full spectrum photography 01/31 to 02/07
I know what you are thinking. Wait were you not suppose to try to take pictures of new things everyday? Oh did you not have him as picture of the day a few days ago? The answer to both questions is yes. I been busy and between work and Apt hunting I have not been able to take many pictures. I took about 10 today and this was the most appealing because it showed a moment in time. He is focused trying to edit a PDF.
Anyway today is my last day of full spectrum, tomorrow I start with Infrared.
Today I dropped a tambourine off at a friends house and came home with an entirely revolutionised approach to photography and editing.
He is a legend: www.flickr.com/photos/davidr_/
It's official!!! I'm weird!!!! lol :)
I was taking these photos and two girls aged about 11 walk past. They stand there looking at me for a minute (bare in mind they're staring at a teenager :)) and then one of them says "What are you doing?". Here I am, standing under a tree with barely any blossom on it, holding a branch down to within photographing distance, and holding up my camera - I guess I looked funny :) I say "Taking photos of the flowers" "Oh" There are a few moments of silence before she says "Why?" I say "Because they're pretty." "Oh" more silence. Why did she think?? Because I have to for an assignment? (which is possibly true - the Wellington Homeschoolers Photography Club here on Flickr (which I run) has a theme this month of new beginnings. So I guess it's a possibility)
Or did she think it was so boring that no one in their right mind would want to do it??
After a few more seconds, they run off down the path and the girl said "You're weird..."
La dee da! :) It's official :) Even though some of my friends already know! lol :)
I'm not sure whether to be offended or flattered :)
I can't decide which of these edits is best!!
Any opinions are valid!!! lol :)
