Ok...here is my artistic edit of The Pioneer Womans cowboy. Man...this was FUN!! Even more fun than editing it was looking at the million and one ways that a photo can be taken and created into works of ART!! Thanks Ree....I had fun!! xo

Dodge & Burn in certain areas on the horse
Saturation plus 25%
Clone stamp to remove brown spot in field & sky edits
Florabella Vintage action pumped up sun
Applied texture @ soft light 75%
Erased texture off face and thats about it!....i think! lol

Beyond Beyond edit challenge. The end product here is not what I had initially envisioned, but I am happy that I went in a different direction to arrive at the final product.
I started in LR with Kim Klassen's preset "Dark Days", then brought some of the saturation on the tulip. Added sharpness and clarity with the adjustment brush & brought into PSCC. Used the Iris Blur w bokey and erased effect over the flower, lowered opacity of the layer. Used oil paint filter, then added Kim's texture kk_softly, removed from the flower. Added another layer of a soft green color over the entire image. Et Voila! A nice spring-y image -- a pleasant thing on a snowy (!) late March morning.
This Horse is named Susi Sole. She is a pinto mare born on May 26, 2014 and is one of 80 +/- wild horses living on Assateague Island in Maryland. The island is an Atlantic Ocean coastal barrier island where the wild horses are allowed to live free and unencumbered by (a lot of) human intervention.

My 16-year-old niece asked me to upload this and enter it into PW's "Edit This!" contest. She's been battling a bunch of health junk due to Lyme Disease lately, and this project kept her busy and helped her "escape" the pain for a while. Not only is this an amazing show of her artistic skills, it's a Godsend for us. Thanks for the challenge, Ree!
My Darling Niece told me a bunch of things she did to edit this picture, but although she was speaking English (I'm pretty sure she was!), I have no idea what she said...sorry!

This is for a editing competition for one of my groups, and just having some fun.

Added Sunset Adjustment Layer with brush, decreased opacity of adjustment layer to 75%
Unsharp Mask 110%, Radius 0.9 pixels, Threshold 9 levels
Thanks for the challenge :) It was a great SOOC photograph, without any edits, but I liked the way the sunset background took the focus off the sky and put the focus back on the horses.
Of course, constructive criticism is always welcome :) Thanks again!

I love the detail in this photo! This week I decided to experiment with color and this was the final result. As a final touch I added a transparent frame. Thanks for checking my submission out!!
An edit I did for another site I particioate in. This was just for fun, added my son and the bugs and soda, adjusted color and lighting, hazed.
