Got out in nature today and had a fantastic encounter with the largest herd of muskoxen I have ever seen. There were over 50 animals in the herd. This defensive ring is around about half the animals. The others were in the hills behind me. I didn't notice them until I had shot this and I was lucky they were more afraid of me than I was of them.

This is the view standing on the most south-westerly tip of mainland Europe looking back inland. Not hard to believe that people since Neolithic times believed that to be the end of their world.

Look for the two people standing on the cliffs on the right hand side for a nice sense of scale!

This is Cape St. Vincent, the most southern westerly place of mainland Europe. Standing at the edge of the world and looking towards America with the mighty Atlantic in between. There wasn't much in terms of light but the stormy and overcast weather and the concealed horizon created a kind of end of the world atmosphere that definitely suited the location.

I could see two members of the flat earth society looking towards the end of their small world. I've heard that they have members around the globe ;-)

She stood where the sea kissed the fading light, a quiet silhouette against the golden sky. The waves whispered stories around her feet, soft and endless, like time gently folding into itself.

There was a stillness in her presence — not empty, but full. Full of wonder, of quiet strength, of the kind of beauty that doesn't need to be spoken. Nature adored her, framing her in its finest hues, holding her in the last embrace of day.

And in that moment, she wasn’t just watching the sunset — she was the promise that tomorrow would rise just as beautifully.

The aptly named Edge of the World is located in the remote northwest of Tasmania, near the entrance to Arthurs River. This photo captures the essence of the region: cold, windy, remote and rugged. Caught this shot just as the setting sun was beaming through the sea haze.

Europe - UK - England - Cornwall - Land's End - Penn an Wlas - Pedn an Wlas - Mainland Britain's most westerly point and one of the country's most famous landmarks, with 200 foot high granite cliffs that rise out of the Atlantic Ocean

End of May or June are great months to visit this wonderful special place as the sun set north enough to appear behind the arch, plus the wonderful Sea Pink or Purple Sea Thrift Flower is in full bloom everywhere along the cliffs. All you need is just the right amount of clouds for bit of color and not too much wind which somehow seem to be part of this dramatic location at all times.

Guilty as charged - one of the most photographed locations on Lofoten, but I simply could not help myself, because if there is A place to stay in Lofoten, it surely must be these cabins which might look like those traditional fisherman cabins from outside... but they are no longer anything like that inside. Wonderful interior, very different from when we stayed there 10 years ago.

Europe - UK - England - Cornwall - Bodmin Moor - Cheesewring (Keuswask) near Minions - Granite tor on Stowe's Hill - Natural geological formation, rock outcrop of granite slabs formed by weathering. The name derives from resemblance of piled slabs to "cheesewring", press-like device that was once used to make cheese

This was one of those incredible sunsets that any photographer dreams about, especially as it seemingly came out of nowhere after a long dull day. It just shows, it is always good to be ready and out there ! Unfortunately it was so super windy that it would have been impossible to use tripod for steady shots at low ISO. I always love those weather forecast descriptions - they called it a "fresh breeze" ! I wonder what "strong wind" would feel like. I could hardly keep my feet on the ground, so all photos had to be taken hand held while praying they'll be sharp enough !

The Edge of The World. The ocean here stretches uninterrupted all the way to Argentina, 15,000 km away to the west. The sea west of Tasmania is in fact the longest uninterrupted expanse of ocean on the globe. From Argentina the currents known as the Roaring 40's sweep unimpeded more than halfway around the planet until they hit this point.

The wild rivers of western Tasmania, when in flood deliver logs and other forest debris to the coast. This flotsam is then worked along the coast by wild seas, creating stranded wood heaps such as this.

Europe - Finland - Suomi - North of the Arctic Circle - Finnish Lapland - Lappland - Lapponia under fresh cover of snow during winter time

No single Northern Lights photo does true justice to what is happening on the sky during those unique moments when Northern Lights appear. After incredible experience of capturing my first ever timelapse in Iceland last year, I've headed to Frozen land of Arctic Lapland to capture Northern Lights under snowy landscape, which is often difficult to find along the coast. Average temperatures around - 25C dont make it particularly friendly experience, but the one which will always be treasured.

Europe - Portugal - Portuguese archipelago - Madeira Island - East Coast - Ponta de São Lourenço - Sao Lourenco - Nature Reserve with wonderful panoramic views of the Atlantic and spectacular volcanic rock formations

Month of June with its longest days offers wonderful fully lit rocky shore by setting sun on the other side, that said if you are lucky and have a sun light at all. Madeira weather can be really playful and the island often hides in large clouds. I waited on this spot for 3 hours, just in case the sun showed up for short period of time. This wonderful light lasted only for 10 mins at the end of the long cloudy wait.

Northern Africa - Kingdom of Morocco - Sahara Desert - Zagora Province - M'Hamid El Ghizlane - Erg Lehoudi - Er Lihoudi - Classic desert landscape with constantly changing sand dunes, lines and shapes - Large sea of dunes formed by wind-blown sand

Windy desert is always great to experience and capture, just the camera is not always happy. This part of Sahara desert might not have the biggest sand dunes, as those in Merzouga, but it is way less touristy these days, so it is wonderful to spend some time there. Europe - UK - England - East Midlands - County of Rutland - Normanton Church on eastern shore of Rutland Water reservoir - St Matthew's Church - Grade II listed building built in classical style

In our heavily digitalized age, it is becoming more and more difficult to find less known locations to capture. This wonderful submerged church is one of my recent finds that I was not aware of till couple of months ago. The evening was wonderfully calm and the reflection was near perfect. Only downside of this evening session was the fact, that there was no artificial lighting at dusk. I asked about that in nearby hotel and they said that the lighting of the church seems rather random.
