National Education Association Vice President Becky Pringle being interviewed while participating in a rally in York, Pennsylvania, protesting current efforts by Governor Tom Corbett, to hand over control of all of the city's public schools to one of two out-of-state private management companies. This transition in control would serve as an intermediate step towards eventually converting all of the schools to for-profit charter schools.

NASHVILLE, TN (December 4, 2014) — National Education Association President Lily Eskelsen García and NEA member education professionals from across the country, held a candlelight vigil while greeting parents, students, education leaders and community members outside of Madison Middle School Prep, who were arriving to attend a public meeting to discuss changes being considered for the school’s future.
