Apologies once again for the quality, but I had just had my first experience of sunlight shining off the lens - Instamatics weren't noted for their lens hoods, and I was yet to learn about holding my notebook over the lens to shade it !
Still, it was my one and only shot of 5995 in this state. As Stockport 295, this all-Leyland PD2 had spent its latter years as a tree-lopper, but after joining the SELNEC fleet in the same capacity, it found wider use in a much wider area as a promotional vehicle. I think it had a few summers as the Piccadilly Radio Fun Bus, and is seen outside their base on the Plaza.
After many years at the GMTS, it was sold to Steve Morris's Quantock fleet in Somerset, but was later exported, I believe, but I have no information as to where it went - anybody know more ?
