Where engineering meets poetry: Grønvollfoss Power Plant stands quietly by the Tinnåa river, its dam mirrored in a glass-like surface. Morning mist drapes the hills, softening the industrial lines into a serene composition. This hydroelectric station is part of Norway’s renewable energy backbone, harnessing the power of water to light up homes while preserving the harmony of nature.
Fun Fact
Grønvollfoss kraftverk was commissioned in 1933 and remains an important hydroelectric facility in Telemark. Norway generates over 90% of its electricity from hydropower, making scenes like this a symbol of sustainable energy.

This Saab 9000 was an interesting sight among the more modern cars in the supermarket car park, especially by having the rather rapid 2.3 litre Ecopower engine.
One of the very last 9000s, only an LPT version, but they still drive well and still look awesome.
Production of the 9000 ended in May 1998, this example was registered in August 1998.
I swapped my 523i for this, only the third Saab I have ever driven. It actually felt like a strange middle ground between the classic 900 I owned, and the 9-3 (from the mid 2000s), with GM evidence aplenty but still feeling like a 'proper' Saab.
I do like it.
I can't remember the last time I saw a 9000 saloon. How Many Left claims seven manuals and 12 autos left n Ecopower spec. Quite a few MOT failures in recent years, with 125,774 miles recoreded at last MOT.

The second-generation model was launched at the North American International Auto Show in early 2002 for the 2003 model year. Designed by Michael Mauer, Einar Hareide, and Anders Gustafsson. Available as a Saloon, a two door Convertible and from 2005 an Estate, The 9-3 and the Opel Vectra were the first of the global GM Epsilon platform,
For 2008 the model had a major face lift with over 2000 changes. included new frontal styling inspired by the Saab 9-2X, new door panels, a new clamshell hood, and frosted rear lamps.
The new 9-3 departed from the EcoPower engine used previously for a new 2.0 L inline-four engine Ecotec engine from General Motors' for the petrol powered models. There are three different versions of the turbocharged inline-four, with the amount of turbo boost determining the power output. The 150 hp (110 kW) version (1.8t) was standard in the non-U.S. market Linear form (trim-level). The 175 horsepower (130 kW) version (2.0t) was standard in U.S. market Linear or non-U.S. market Vector form, mated with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed 'Sentronic' which is a traditional automatic

A heavy winter fog obscured visibility across the outback rural landscape, then suddenly a fog bow appeared, arching across the dirt road lined with flowering wattle - and in the distance barely visible the wind turbines quietly turn generating clean revewable energy.
