Note: I'm not completely sure about who brews this. I can't find much on the internet. If I get to go back to the Bahamas, maybe I can find out...
Gave some more photos a quick once over in Lightroom. These are all slightly different exposures so you can see detail in the inner corona on the shorter exposures and mid and outer corona on the longer exposures culminating with one picture where you can see Earthshine on the Moon.
Partial eclipse over Lake Zorinsky. Will have to wait until 2017 for the next opportunity around here. Not the best effort, but I also wasn't going to burn my eyes trying to line up the perfect shot... well, that and the sun is what... 93 million miles away and the lake is at my feet...

NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Coast Guard Academy held the 2017 Eclipse Week Awards Ceremony, April 7 2018.
Eclipse Awards are part of the Academy's Informal Recognition Program and were created to recognize the significant efforts made by individuals in mentoring and inspiring cadets to excel and prepare for lasting careers as inclusive Coast Guard officers.

The January 20/21 total lunar eclipse, blood moon in progress. My camera clock was off by 1 hour, 0 minutes and 50 seconds, so this image is actually taken at roughly an hour and a minute earlier than EXIF states.
A cool thing about this eclipse was that a Meteor hit the Blood Moon at exactly 11:41:10 (Reports differ, but it is 11:41: something.)

Three stages of the full lunar eclipse on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, are represented in this photo montage. The full moon arose during cloudy conditions over Elgin, Illinois, but as the lunar surface seemed to turn blood red as the moon entered totality, the skies cleared before clouding up again as the moon began to emerge from earth’s shadow. The eclipse occurred during a “Super Moon,” when the moon is closest to the earth, and the Harvest Moon, which is the full moon closes to the fall equinox, when daylight and night are of about equal length.

There was an annular solar eclipse on May 20, 2012, but it was only partial where I was. I was at Maker Faire Bay Area, tearing down my LEGO club's exhibit, during the eclipse, and I took a break to snap a few pictures.
