Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. Seeing such a huge cloud of vapour brought to mind a line from Groundhog Day where Bill Murray's character says, "I make the weather." With these vape clouds actually being a desiccant they catch my throat and make me cough - something that actual smoke doesn't do to me! Passive vaping is surely not good and some of these devices produce massive clouds. Enjoy full screen by pressing 'L' and thank you for supporting my photography!
These are some pictures of the new Electronic Cigarettes: the pink DSE901 from E-Smokeytreats.com. These are electronic cigarettes with nothing BUT nicotine and water vapor! Check esmoking101.com for more info!

Saidus Khaled [left] and Schumann Zaman, two of the most dynamic bass players of Bangladesh [A.K.A failed lead guitarists, because every bassist is a failed lead guitarist #fact]. Both are my childhood friend and awesome personalities.
I dedicate this photograph for all the great times we had back in the days. Happy birthday Bassbaba [Saidus Khaled]

I've done plenty of engagement shoots where I take the couple to the beach at sunset, or a sun-drenched open field with oak trees, or that scene where they're in a classy restaurant making eyes at each other.
This couple asked for something different. We ended up at a dive bar in Ventura drinking crappy beer and playing pool and then they showcased their smoke-making skills as they sucked on their e-cigs on our way back to the cars. This was more realistic for them compared to the other scenarios, and I totally welcomed it.
Obviously they're not going to have the same flexibility over location or attire at their wedding, so their engagement session allowed them to be creative and showcase who they really are.

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. Conversation through a cloud of vapour - enjoy!
Faffing was the order of the night tonight, in the form of lighting up some foam packaging from work. Stacked then re-stacked in various ways. Lit with snooted and gelled flash camera left. RGB torch from camera right then large chuff of vape from my ecig and a blast of the laser.
Can't quite believe we're 1 off 100 hundred in already. No ideas for marking the occasion but a revisit to the Kiln and a nearby tunnel should hopefully yield some light painting goodness.
See you tomorrow folks....I have batteries to charge :)

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. I just loved the subtle back lighting for the vape and the lens flare coming into the shot too, enjoy!
Two lights. Ad360 camera behind and to the left and an ad360 in front of her to camera right.
ISO100 85mm f 5.6 1/125
Bent a fork to look like a scorpion. Sort of.
Red gelled and snooted flash camera left 1/128 power and RGB torch on blue camera right. Bit of vape from my ecig first and let it settle popped the flash and flicked the torch on and off and that was that. This is the best of many many goes and after a while was wondering if it'd ever look right or if it was a crap idea.
That's number 4 of my 365.
It seems I have reached the age where you can go to sleep in fine health and wake up with what feels like torn ligaments in your ankle. Bad times.
God knows what I have done but faffing around stood up isn't what the physio ordered.
I grabbed a quick half an hour of dark field lighting with my new ecig as the subject and am now putting my feet up.
Fingers crossed I see tomorrow morning without a new unexplained ailment :)

Fun ghetto studio idea Rob had that was fun as hell to execute. Set up a YN-560 in a deep umbrella to trigger as the sole light source and vaped into the shot. Made for some crazy dramatic looks!
Lungs feel a 100% better, my taste and sense are coming back, and I feel better than ever. I made this photo for my friend who gave me the ecig for chirstmas. thought I would celebrate with a picture that I would print out for him.
E-cigarettes may be safer for you than fags, but looking at this, I wouldnt try driving at the same time as using one :)
Today I finished up a 100% mesh vape! This is the first variant that comes in the color VOMIT! A green and yellow mixture for neon puke enthusiasts. Contained in the box are two versions: A non-smoking version, and a version that bursts out smoke every 10 seconds. Also included is an instructions notecard explaining how to turn the smoke on and off via the smoke version.

I have finally taken the plunge and got myself Lightroom. I'm going to spend the rest of the evening watching tutorials as I have very little clue what I'm doing. I've had a bit of a play with this one and whilst I was very happy with the original I definitely prefer this fettled version.
I saw a version of this shot done a couple of times so I wanted to have a go as I have just purchased a new e cig which could fill a rave. Flash on stand behind my head on 24mm I think and -1 ev. Faffed about with various apertures, poses, costumes and flash positions. Set my white balance to tungsten to cool everything down. l positioned the flash to fire at the wall about two feet in front from my head for all the fill whilst at the same time providing the rim light.
Exported to lightroom and various sliders slid about.
This is number 101 of my 365.
Cheers.
Went for a goofy dramatic editing style on this one.
YN-560 in a deep umbrella, handheld and remote triggered, while vaping a monster cloud!
This shot was taken for PHOTINGO. Subject - Night Time.
