Lesser Stitchwort, Creeping Buttercup and the odd Field Forget me not make up a white and yellow drift through this part of the meadow.

It looks like I've put a vignette on this photo (which I haven't), so much so that it got me wondering and checking other photos with that lens - which seem fine to my rubbish eye. I centre weighted the metering on the white flowers so it must be a combo of that and the shady light. Can't think what else created that effect - never noticed it on other lenses. Any other explanation will be glad to hear it........

I think it works quite well though.

I was fortunate enough to see a number of reticulated giraffes when I was in northern Kenya last month. With only about 15 000 animals left in the wild, these are rare animals that can only be found in northern Kenyan parks like Ol Pejeta and Samburu. This particular animal was on the move in the early evening.

After a long days searching I finally found a few of these beauties.

Early morning

Capture taken on day 3 of previous NYC visit. The day started again early and I did use a taxi to get to Grand Central to take a few capture there. The plan afterwards was to move to Tudor bridge. Too bad, there was just construction works so I could not get on that bridge...so I went further to get to this place. Was a bit late for more blue in the sky, but now overall happy with this edit.
