Ea es un municipio y localidad de la costa nordeste de la provincia de Bizkaia, a unos 50 km de Bilbao.

El río Ea forma una estrecha ría en su desembocadura, en la que se encuentra encajonada la localidad, con las casas alineadas en estrechas calles paralelas al río y un pequeño y antiguo puente que salva el cauce. La pequeña playa y el abrigo de pescadores quedan protegidos en el fondo de la ría, quedando sin agua durante la marea baja.
