Used the opportunity to do some wireless flash testing.
Yongnuo did great, following my Sony a99's 6 fps - wireless i wasnt expecting that :)
Strobist info:
Right flash, 1/16 power - 105mm zoom, pointed on face/upper body.
Left flash, 1/32 power - 50mm zoom, pointed on general body.
Flash firing at 6 fps wireless.
Lighting information: one Olympus FL-600R camera left, diffused with Polaroid mini-diffuser. One Olympus FL-300R camera front, undiffused. Both triggered from Olympus FL-LM1, on camera, partly contributing to the exposure.
EA-6 Prowler 1:72 scale shown here in the “Playboys” sqn. The colour scheme I took from a picture @1970 aboard an aircraft carrier (unsure which one) somewhere off the coast of Vietnam. Tried to show the odd colour of the paint which most probably from the heat and salt during deployment.
The U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler Demo Team. They are from Electronic Attack Squadron 129 (VAQ-129, “The Vikings”), which trains all EA-18G aviators and is based at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. Seen at the 2021 Thunder Over Michigan Airshow, sponsored by the Yankee Air Museum.
