Terrible day for creativity. But hey, I'm on day 200!
Or day 565, depending if you count the first year.
(200/365)
Kindly sent to me by Dave Dunk via Facebook, some scans of his photographs, mostly of Petrol Stations in the Boroughs of Enfield & Barnet, mostly from the late 80`s to early 90`s.
(Please do not repost/reproduce any of these pictures without permission, thanks)
We had visited my wife's sister's family for Easter this year. It was a ton of fun watching the kiddos working on the egg coloring...
I have been a supervisor for the last few years as we've taken students on a trip to explore the Underground Railroad.. We visit a variety of sites and museums--there are shots on my stream from other years. We also try and find a few spots where physical activity is possible. At one of the museums there is an outdoor bball court. It has adjustable height rims. One of the rims was locked in a lower position which allowed these boys to dunk. Perhaps not with success every time, but if it were too easy, it wouldn't be fun.
I have this swoosh with the letters on my desk for few months now. I built it after I saw the images of 43008 Nike Dunk set. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the physical parts to build either of my base/ sneakers ideas, so I made them in Studio.

I wanted to capture my buddy in mid air trying to dunk. I had two flashes set up and got everything ready to go -- but then I realized I had no batteries for the second flash. I tried using one flash but it looked horrible. When the sun started to set and the sky turned blue, I decided to try silhouettes.
