An impulse buy because I got sick of waiting for a cool SB Dunk low to come out. Now they are beat to shit.
Once we got home, Molly opened up and built her dunk tank. Then it was time to start tossing the ball. Nacho the dog is ready to get wet.

Active Weekly May 31st - June 7th: Illusion
Description:
For this assignment I had the idea of just flipping through the dictionary and randomly selecting a few words and then I was going to choose the assignment from that list. The word selected ended up being the first one I found: illusion. Illusion is defined as something which deceives by making a false or misleading impression of reality. I want you to take this however you'd like. I love seeing a variety of photos. This could be an optical illusion or just something that may not be what it seems. You could even make a short story in your description to go along with your picture to explain what makes it an illusion (For example: having a picture of an innocent looking child and then explain that they are in fact a highly dangerous assassin). Get creative and have some fun!

Again I went to my pool of students (which will not be accessible for the next two months!) for help on this one. I gave Leeland a basketball and asked him to give me his best dunk pose. Unfortunately (or fortunately for this assignment) it was not high enough, so I had to give him a little help in photoshop.
WIT: Two photos, one of an empty court and the other with Leeland's dunk. In photoshop cut out Leeland and his shadow and placed them on the empty court. Cloned out an onlooker and some piping on the wall.
Shot from 2006 when I still had some SBs and Pro Bs left. I sold a lot of these and moved on to air force 1s because dunks were really getting too much attention at that point.
From Left to right:
Row 1: "Irons" (2003), "Brown Packs" (2003), "Sea Crystals" (2004), "Ghosts" (2003/4), "Fogs" (2005).
Row 2: Two pairs of hemps from early 2004, Cascade and Burgundy, "Vamps" (2003), "Barfs" (2003), "Carhartt" 2004.
Row 3: "Veneers" "Ceramics" "Plums" (2001 suede pro b), "Grunge Pack" (2003), "Carhartt Black" (2004).
The two 6" 2x4 blocks are there to make the effective tank volume less when I'm prepping parts that are less than 12' long. I'll clamp them in place, then only plastic-line one side.
Whitey's got some hops! This is Josh Cox, formerly of Starmount High in Boonville, N.C. Cox, who graduated a few years ago, was only about 5'9" but the boy could get up. He actually missed this dunk, but who's keeping track?
P.S. - I believe he is related to Heather Cox, the hot blonde girl from this year's American Idol.
