So, the owner of a food business who served meals and snacks to construction workers realized that the two most popular foods he sold were coffee and donuts. And that's how Dunkin Donuts was born. The sprinkles on this white iced donut are their signature colors.

Dunkin' Donuts yeast doughnut with "chocolate" frosting and sprinkles. I do not like these doughnuts, but it was the only kind they had with sprinkles for this photo challenge.

Strip mall on Manhattan's Lower East Side.
In the blurry distance we see a cross rising above.... an apartment house? ..... indicating a store front church?..... the art work has been commisioned by the owners of the strip mall.... announcing their connection to the new, "artistic" residents of the Lower East Side? But, of course, the main exhibits are Dunkin' Donuts and Ray Pizza, affordable alternatives to high priced fruits and veggies for sale in the supermarkets.

The second lockdown in the Netherlands. It's 10h22 on the last day of the year. No tourists and all non-essential shops are closed. Even Dunkin'Donuts and Burger King are closed here.

I've been up since 4am because of the howling wind and driving rain. Being a light sleeper sucks. I spent most of the night listening to garbage pails tumble down the street and stray branches fly against the house. And now I have to spend the next hour before work getting the beds out of the bedrooms because the carpets are being installed today.
It's going to be one of those days. Work, something to do after work, then food shopping, then home, put groceries away, make dinner and THEN, after Todd works overtime (which he is doing EVERY night this week), put all the furniture back in the bedrooms.
Ever have one of those days where your first though on waking is "how long til I can go back to sleep?" Yea, it's going to be a long time.
No, I'm not really eating the donuts for breakfast. The last thing I need today is a sugar crash.
