Wzmocniony do trzech SZT serii SD85 pociąg intercity "Kasztelan" z Krakowa Głównego do Hrubieszowa opuszcza centrum Krakowa mając za tło podświetlone słońcem, od lewej: Wawel, kościół św Piotra i Pawła przy ulicy Grodzkiej, kościół Dominikanów, Wieżę Ratuszową i kościół Mariacki przy Rynku Głównym. Co do bezpośredniego otoczenia, to teren bezpośrednio pod estakadą czeka na zagospodarowanie na park, może z tą częścią pójdzie sprawniej.
The "Kasztelan" intercity train, reinforced with three SD85 series DMUs, from Kraków Główny to Hrubieszów, departs Krakow city center against a sunlit backdrop, from left to right: Wawel Castle, the Church of St. Peter and Paul on Grodzka Street, the Dominican Church, the Town Hall Tower, and St. Mary's Church on the Main Market Square. As for the immediate surroundings, the area directly beneath the viaduct is awaiting development as a park; perhaps this section will go more smoothly.
Sorry about the harsh contrast and blown highlights: my camera was apparently overheating.

Today's photo is a silly one of my dog. This was inspired by today's Daily Shoot, which was "#ds85 Pet photos are such a cliche, but they're also cute. Make an interesting photo of a pet today."
My dog, Kali, is balancing a Frosty Paw dog ice cream on her nose. She was shaking so much she was so excited! I was only able to get about 3 shots before she dropped it! Once it hit the floor, my photo shoot was over :)

Meet Tegan, my friend Whitney's male Betta splendens, more commonly known as the Siamese fighting fish or betta fish. Off-camera SB-600 flash was left of the tank. Back and left sides of the tank were covered with white tissue paper to diffuse the light. Shutter speed was low (1/4 second) and set to "rear" mode in order to capture some motion lines, because he was looking awfully still otherwise.

Lacking a living, breathing pet (I cant find the house mice), I'm caling my wind vane buddy Spike as my interesting pet.
He never complains, loves to play, never makes a mess, and often wags his foot.
Tess went in to be spayed today, so wasn't quite her usual self following the operation. The collar is a much needed precaution as she was intent on licking her stitches.

Polyethylene terephthalate (sometimes written poly(ethylene terephthalate)), commonly abbreviated PET, PETE, or the obsolete PETP or PET-P), is a thermoplastic polymer resin of the polyester family and is used in synthetic fibres; beverage, food and other liquid containers; thermoforming applications; and engineering resins often in combination with glass fibre.
PET can be semi-rigid to rigid, depending on its thickness, and it is very lightweight. It makes a good gas and fair moisture barrier, as well as a good barrier to alcohol (requires additional "Barrier" treatment) and solvents. It is strong and impact-resistant. It is naturally colourless with a high transparency. PET bottles are excellent barrier materials and are widely used for soft drinks (see carbonation). For certain specialty bottles, PET sandwiches an additional polyvinyl alcohol to further reduce its oxygen permeability.
PET is commonly recycled, and has the number "1" as its recycling symbol. Please recycle!

Gertie was wanting a treat tonight. She will now put her head in the bag but she cant' quite make it to the bottom. I finally tipped the bag to help her out.
He wondered why I was hovering over him with this swollen black clicking thing. After I whistled five or six times to get him to look at me, he started tuning me out.

Clyde's been glued to us since we returned from our vacation this weekend. My husband sat down with his laptop and coffee this morning to catch up on sports scores, but Clyde insisted that the laptop go so he could have 'Dad's' lap!

Well, both our cats have made the journey to the great beyond in the last year, so I could have cheated and used an old pet picture.. Instead, you get a Sea Monkey, which while a whole lot less huggable than a cat, are also much lower maintenance....
