What’s up everyone!?!?! Hope all you guys are doing well out there! With todays post I’m taking it back air. This time with that little flying camera that goes up in the air….yeah the drone. I was recently told by a well known photographer that, “flying the drone is so simple, how hard could it be, you point the camera at the ground and take a picture.” I found that comment interesting, yet entertaining at the same, coming from a person that doesn’t fly drones 🤔♂️. I digress….back to the image.
Colombia….oh Colombia! Ah caramba!!! Tan bonito! One of the most beautiful countries I’ve visited. The landscape there is incredible. There are so many photography possibilities there. This particular area of Colombia lies in a section of the Amazon rainforest close to the Venezuelan border. A 2 hour boat ride on the Inirida River will take you to these amazing peaks. This peaks are daunting and imposing. Almost like they weren’t meant to be a part of the landscape there. But so powerful and full of beauty.
The drone provided a perspective that one would never see from ground level. As the drone ascends, the enormity of these peaks become very apparent. It was if I was being transported to another world. The days last light fading on the horizon just brought this already amazing landscape life.
