Early during spring migration, I hear "Drink Your Tea" outside my window. I go look and happily find this Eastern Towhee scratching around frantically in the mulch. Joyous Spring!
Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily , we have Mr. Teddy Bear with us to celebrate Happy Teddy Bear Tuesdays. And the theme at Crazy Tuesday is : my favourite drink.
Of course , if you are following me for some time now, you probably know the answer to this question. Mr.Teddy Bear knows very, very well what my favourite drink is for sure !! And, as you can see he loves it too !!
For those of you who are new to my photo stream, my favourite drink of all times is : gin and tonic ! And since I’m still on vacation: I will have a very strong gin and tonic with a fancy tiny umbrella in my pool today :-). Cheers my friends !!

A Komodo Dragon at Chester Zoo.
Komodo dragons were first documented by Europeans in 1910, when rumours of a "land crocodile" reached Lieutenant van Steyn van Hensbroek of the Dutch colonial administration.
The first two live Komodo dragons to arrive in Europe were exhibited in the Reptile House at London Zoo when it opened in 1927.
Reaching up to 10 feet in length and more than 300 pounds, they are the heaviest lizards on Earth.

The unique shape of the 15m high sea stack resembles a giant dinosaur enjoying a drink from the ocean.
The shot was taken at sunrise (and what a sunrise it was!) on my last day in Iceland. What a glorious way to end such an unforgettable trip!

Been trying to get this shot for awhile now, and although it isn't perfect, it's the best one I've had of this scenario to date. Hoping for another chance with better lighting so I can use lower iso and higher f stop.
