As I have hand fed Azizi all winter, now when I bring him out, he automatically dribbles, which is what happened on his little photo shoot this afternoon!! Lots of dribble, all over the strawberries and me but it's a cute look!
Going to the archives for a shot that always makes me smile. I hope this shot of a young crow on the bird bath gives you a smile, too.
P.S. Some of you have commented on the color of this young one's eyes. Baby crows have blue or blue gray eyes that turn to brown as they mature.
Thank you all for your comments, faves and support. I do not know why lately there was a sudden growth of interests in my work, so, I am sorry if I do not reply or reciprocate your comments and faves.
Please DO NOT fave my photos in large number. Fave only those photos that you like as I will not return your faves in large number.
Please also note that you may follow me but I may not follow you back as it is very time consuming to have too many friends.
. . . when I think of You !

For Our Daily Challenge: “Perfect Timing, Or Your Best Shot At It”
I’ve been posting archive shots almost exclusively of late, but on Saturday, I found some time to get out and explore a couple of the nature areas near our new home. I didn’t find a lot to photograph…things are still pretty much wearing their winter browns in these parts. But I did spot a couple of swans dabbling for food near the edge of a lake, and they turned out to be photogenic. So here’s at least one new shot, for a change. She had just pulled her head out of the chilly water when this shot was taken.
Boo hauling herself onto the branch, whilst dribbling away!!
(She was paid handsomely in Morio worms after this photo shoot!).

I posted a male Crossbill taking a drink recently. Well here's a drinking female to even things up. I was quite pleased with this photo as I liked the stream of water droplets dribbling from her bill tip as she raised her head. Crossbills live on a diet of dry seeds from pine cones so need to take in extra water. So they frequently visit puddles to drink where they can be quite confiding and easy to photograph. This was near Holmfirth in West Yorkshire.
Kiki (35) and Mrs D (95).
Mrs D: I lost all my toys when the war started and we had to leave my native Burma. We went to India only with documents and clothes. Everything that was dear was left behind...
Kiki was given to me on my 60th birthday as a present and since then never left me...

Everybody has a teddy.
Even if they say they don’t, they do,
they’re fibbing. Even kings, queens,
famous footballers, hairy rock stars
and busy teachers. Yours included.
And all those people on the telly. Them too.
And I’m sure even aliens have their own
equally cute, equally cuddly, equally
dog-eared, squished and dribbled-over
version of this classic soft toy. But why?
Well, why not? However old you are,
however grown up you may appear to be,
however important or bossy you may become,
in a hush of a moment every now and then,
you will still feel the need to open
the bedroom cupboard, remove
that little fuzzy bundle, and give it
a sniff and a kiss and a little snuggle
Cute little "Star" our 2 week old call duck in our dam for the first time and loving it. She and "Ringo" see us as their parents and scurry out of the water at any sign of being threatened and will 'hide' under us.
I got to Bushy Park pond before the bird feeders arrived with their bread . . . the ducks and seagulls were just hanging around in anticipation.
The game of basketball was once pretty important to the family that once lived in this long abandoned farmhouse in northern Illinois. Kind of hard to practice dribbling skills in the dirt though....
