Austrian Airlines OE-LBA Airbus A321 in "My Dreamteam" colours on short finals for runway 34 at Schwechat.
As soon as I get out of bed in the morning, Lizzi and Sam are there to snuggle up in the duvet. I think it's wonderful that Sam has gotten so used to Lizzi and is therefore no longer so afraid of me.

... nun will ich auch einmal wieder etwas aus älteren Tagen zeigen ...
dieses Foto war es mir wert knappe 300 km zu fahren ...
Anna und Maria der Westfrankenbahn endlich einmal zusammen unterwegs ... dazu noch das Form-Einfahrtsignal (leider bereits Geschichte) und das Bahnwärterhäuschen dazu ... ein lockerer Mix aus Sonne und Wolken machen das Bild für mich zu etwas Besonderem ... es passt fast Alles :D

Une de nos petites oies a décidé de prendre végas pour maman, comment faire avec ce petit pot de colle quand on a pas la fibre maternelle...
Et pourtant je suis trés patient et affectueux maman!
Seit einer Woche gibt es bei uns Zuhause zwei neue quirlige Mitbewohner - Garfield (rechts) & Lothar, 6 Jahre alt, aus dem örtlichen Tierheim.
Zusammen sind sie ein echtes Dreamteam!
So verschmust und aufgeschlossen haben die beiden bereits im Sturm unsere Herzen erobert!
Ich freue mich auf eine spannende und fröhliche Zeit mit den beiden "Rackern"!!
Ich wünsche allen ein schönes und sonniges Wochenende!

Since a week we've two new lively roommates - Garfield (on the right) & Lothar, 6 years old, from the local shelter.
Together they are a real dream team! So cuddly and kind they already stormed our hearts!
I'm looking forward to an exciting and joyful time with the two "rascals" !!

Austrian's 'My DREAMTEAM' special livery for the 2016 Soccer World Cup. This was on the left side of the aircraft only!
Named: "Salzkammergut".
First flown with the Airbus test registration D-AVZH, this aircraft was delivered to Austrian Airlines as OE-LBA in Dec-95. After 28 years in service the aircraft was ferried to Tallin, Estonia in mid Dec-23 and stored. Permanently retired? Updated 21-Jan-24.
Note: After several years of losses, the Austrian Government sold the company to the Lufthansa Group in 2009. In Jul-12, mounting losses, escalating costs and staff unrest caused the airline to transfer all their aircraft and routes to their subsidiary company Tyrolean Airways.
Additional small titles 'Operated by Tyrolean Airways' were displayed on the aircraft which continued to operate in full Austrian Airlines livery. Air crew and some other staff were offered new contracts. Three years later, in Apr-15, Tyrolean Airways was merged into Austrian Airlines and the 'Operated by...' part of the titles was removed from the aircraft.
