This was taken on the upstairs gallery landing, with very little light available but I think this works with the dress Georgi's wearing.
DRAMATIC SKY. I used a simple snapshot and altered it by using a simple filter of ACDSee and enhenced the dramatic effect with Photoshop special plug-in from Topaz. This kind of approach is very usefull for creating Photshop based "paintings". I don't mind if anybody would use this to make his/her creation.
As I was walking home the light and the sky was fabulous, but I knew that the sun would disappear behind the dark clouds very soon, with no time to get camera and get out. I managed a shot from the window before it disappeared.
Photo 15/31 October picture a day.
I always wanted to have to my own shoot for the Manila Bay...and it did happened. The sceneries were great and Roxas Boulevard comes alive as the sun begins to set. No wonder people would always go back here and be relaxed.
Thanks to Ian for accompanying and giving me some tips.

Everyone should see this dramatic native wetland biennial. I don't say everyone needs to have them in their garden though. They are very prolific, coming from seed by the thousands. If you want to leave just a few I would suggest cutting them off before they go to seed. The first year they are a modest herb, less than a foot high. Suddenly, in June of their second year, these attention seeking divas shoot up to heights of six to eight feet. And all that with purple stems! If they are not allowed to go to seed, angelica plants will return more like a perennial. This aromatic native has many traditional herbal and medicinal uses.
This evening we were treated to a very dramatic sunset.

This is the result of experimenting with Enfuse and just going nuts in the drama department....
This is one of my favorite spots just because it is so far out from any kind of civilization and its just very beautiful with a lot of rare birds, but I came to shoot the dramatic skies after the recent snow storm and I got some pretty good results, doesnt compare to being there though...
If it isnt obvious ive been kind of hooked on a panoramic perspective this week
My daughter looks much better in this light than I do.
Three lights. 1 old Nikon Strobe in a 28" square softbox about 2 feet above the camera. One old Nikon high and behind her on the right, and one old Nikon strobe almost level with her and a bit behind her and to the left. Also threw in a 42 inch white reflector beneath her.
Dramatic clouds and vibrant color paint the sunset sky over Diamond Head volcano basin on southeast Oahu.
