Original is a shot of orange dailyness against a white wall. My plan was to layer the shots to tone down the white wall, and then erase the rest of the duplicate. But, you never know what you'll get with layering an image over itself. This time, I flipped my shot (horizontally, but it works vertically, too), then I layered the flipped shot over the original at about 50%. Sometimes, it's nothing, but often a nice abstract results. And close to St. Pat's Day, I guess you get a leprechaun - totally unplanned. lol! Happy sliding serendipity!

it's been done before and now it's been done again... proud to say no photoshop was involved. still don't have the damn tool, call me old fashioned! ;-) anyway, will be about travelling for some time, so thank you all for your massive inspiration and kind comments! keep up your excellent work and let the gods be with you, crazy kids! and don't get yourself into trouble! but then again, trust strangers, at least some of them! ;-)

Hi guys! Feels like I missed all of spring... :) I've been out today, and it's summer. Jeans is waaay to hot, shorts/skirt is the only way to go.

I finally got a dragonfly shot worth posting and the funny part was I got it without having any idea I did-I was using the Coolpix and I can never see it's lcd screen in sunlight and there is no viewfinder so I was happy my pointing and shooting vaguely in the right direction worked!

Includes a brown stock/base/handle, a gunmetal barrel, and a tan-swirled barrel-tip!
Some more zoomed in looks at the bonejack. The tan barrel-tip is "meh" in my opinion, but I wanted to put three different colors, and it looks good enough for usage. :) By the end of this, I'll have a nice and small collection of bonejacks! :-)
I decided to do some research on the "Bonejack" and found some interesting facts! I am a pretty big fan of Stargate, but I have not seen every episode. I saw that apparently the bonejack was used in Stargate Atlantis by a few different people; thought that was cool.
Additionally, and I can clearly see the resemblance, but the bonejack is constructed from a Winchester Model 1887.
