Every story ever told likely ended with the phrase "The End."

Everything has to come to a close at some point, right? But that phrase is incredibly misleading. There's something deeper to life, to adventure; it can't just be chopped off when we decide to call it "The End."

So here, now: this was the end of an adventure. But maybe "The End", once again, is just false advertising. #sweeterpoetry

|| Merry Christmas, dear ones. Let this be the beginning of something new, and the continuation of what was already beautiful. ||

On a recent trip around John Lewis, I noticed this in the rugs department.

Unfortunately it is not for sale, as it is just a colour swatch rug - as I found out when I enquired how much it was.

The sales guy also said it was a common question.

Do want.

My love! I'm saving for you as fast as I can!! > 3<

Love and cookies,

Well, I've been tagged by fellow flickrer Mel. So here are my 10 random things, which you hopefully don't hate.

1. My one year anniversary of taking photography seriously is coming up. Or maybe it passed? I'm not sure, but I do know that I started doing this sometime in January of '09. Anyway, I have a bad memory.

2. I'm god awful at talking about myself which explains why I've spent 10 minutes thinking about what to write as number two!

3. I always have a great and foolproof grandiose scheme that I usually never put into play because of lack of time and/or lack of funds. Being an entrepreneur is not as easy as it seems but when the time comes, at least I'll have a list of plans to spring.

4. I love ninjas. Can you tell?

5. I have been featured on Japanese national television. True story!

6. I'm working on a website which I will soon plug on my flickr when the time comes, so be ready to hear about it ad nauseum if I'm on your contacts list! Well, that is if I don't end up being cursed by the dreaded thing number 3.. Again.

7. As a gadget geek, I'm kinda wishing I never got into photography.. I bite my lower lip to the point of bleeding to contain myself from spending on camera gear. Pro lenses, strobes, filters, tripod.. DO WANT. Whenever I get my paycheck I feel so tempted to spend on stuff like that instead of saving. I'm working on it but it's tough..

8. Similarly, as a geek on a whole, I spend whatever money I haven't spent on a new lens on video games, toys, and sneakers. Well, I haven't splurged on sneakers in a while, and I'm cutting down my toy expenses, but I don't think I'll ever stop buying games.. I remember when the newest, top of the line games cost 40 bucks! Wait, I'm showing my age, ain't I? I play the 360 religiously and plan on getting a PS3 very soon.. Message me for the gamertag if you ever want to play MW2, Halo, etc.

9. In case you haven't noticed already, I take pride in my status as a geek and I feel like geeks in general should too. This subculture has nothing to be ashamed of.. Freak out with yo' geek out, people!

10. I like turtles.

I don't know who to tag at this point. If you've read all this, and you feel so inclined, consider it a tag and start doing one yourself! Maybe I'll tag a few people somewhere down the line if I notice no one doing it on their own accord :P

edit: OK, I'm gonna start tagging people because not many folks did it on their own accord, lol.. if you've already done one recently and you're tagged no worries, if you haven't done one and you just dont feel like doing one SHAME ON YOU! but no worries :P

This pantone kubricks set. About 100 dollars over my budget, but man I'd love these. In a window of Double Punch in SF.

If I were going to pay Colorware ( colorwarepc [dot] com ) to paint my iMac, here's what it would look like when it's done. The white and black are solid colors and meant to contrast (as well as pay respect to the previous generation of iMac, which was white like this) while I painted the logos in a metallic "candy apple," one because I thought it would look more interesting and two because I didn't want to have to stare at bright red all day.

We middle-class can dream, can't we?

My list of favorite Pullips is way, way, way too long, so I decided to narrow it down to my top five. In the middle is my grail, Fanatica, then Noir and Uncanricky, then Alice and Grell.

Hungry duck being fed :)

I WANT ANOTHER ONE!!!

Yesterday I started a short stint on the Burroughs MAster Cleane regiment, aka, the Lemonade Diet. (Look it up on google.) It's really not a lot of fun but it does the trick.

However next time I feel the need for detoxification, I'm going to pick up one of those vitamin kits from the natural foods stores.

My neighbor brought one of her 4 10-week-old fosters over tonight. Then I went to her house and met her 3 sisters; another one that looks like her, an orange tabby and a white siamese! I don't know if I can have another cat but omg, look at that face! And she just melted into my arms. I love her.

Alice: Olá, então você é a nova vampira, Aleera não é?!

Aleera: Sim, sim e essa sua amiguinha apetitosa, quero dizer, cheirosa, seria quem?

Grape: Oi, eu sou a Grape!

Aleera: *pensando* ela consegue ler meus pensamentos???

Aleera *pensando* Essa vamp metida vai me dar trabalho!

Grape *pensando* Yupiiii!!! Eu oficialmente conheço duas vamps mega ultra lindas e poderosas!!!

Alice *pensando* Tenho que ficar de olho nessa Aleera!

A 'widescreen' cut of a photo from the auto show. Normally not a big fan of making a photo 'widescreen' from the start, but I figured this portion of the photo was the best part.

i want these when american apparel closes its doors.
