...the trim around the mouth of the compartment and on the left and right sides was sculpted from wood epoxy,
..the three stars (red, blue, and yellow) were hand painted and appear as they do within the game...the neck of the light housing is actually a section of pvc that has a sculpted outer layer made up of wood epoxy, which was then meticulously sanded to refine its appearance...

..the lights are located beneath the hay enclosed by a sheet of plexiglass that has been tinted blue...the battery compartment and switch are easily accessible and are virtually unnoticeable once everything is in place...the tinted glass helps with the distribution of light, and also insures that the bulbs are safe in case one were to put anything on top..
..now, if only i had one of these for real on those days that i really need to get things done... :)
..i took a few liberties in the construction of this piece, so it's not exactly 100% true to appearance...certain details (..the latch, for example) were implemented for their convenience rather than their representation of strict accuracy..all in all i think it's faithful enough.. :)
..light housing for the emblem is actually a pvc cap that has had a thin piece cross-sectioned and then reattached with a circular piece of translucent plastic in between...the emblem itself was generated in photoshop and then printed onto clear sticker paper...
..this is what the replica looks like in low-light settings...re-examining the machine's appearance in black ops 2 zombie mode, i should have created the word "stamin up" as a light as well.. this was difficult to discern at the time of construction, as i was working from pics of the machine when the power was off...
